Bend your knees, swivel hips, repeat.
Easy peasy.
Bend the knees I got, it's the swivel the hips that might be trouble. With sciatica, I may just get stuck in that position!!

I think the thread has moved on to pagan Valentine's day.Well I think it happened when I put the Christmas trees up this year. But that would throw me over to the Christmas is pagan thread. And I don't know if it's too late or too early for that.

I appreciate the kind words. Likewise.Agree or disagree on certain things I appreciate you brother! Thanks for the morning laughs!
I received a knowledge of Calvinism and I don't think that was from God.
1 Timothy 1:5
But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.
If the goal of the Christian life is agape love; I think that excludes theology in general.
I don't think you understand reformed thinking at all. Does knowledge imply understanding?

It is important to state this frequently, "I don't think you understand reformed thinking at all."
Agape love is 'impersonal' love.
How many know this?
I had to learn it.....
It's the love from God we are to have for the unlovable as well.
I don't follow here. So because he says you're not understanding reformed theology, due to the fact its been misrepresented, this means he doesn't have a pure heart or sincere faith? This doesn't follow or make sense at all. Why does him pointing out a misunderstanding = his ultimate goal as a Christian? Did I miss him making this claim? From my perspective that was directed strait at a blatant problem, I am not seeing how this is translated into "the ultimate goal of being a Christian" in your mind. What'd I miss?Your reply gave the game away, Cameron.

"I don't think you understand reformed thinking"
'Reformed thinking' was never the goal of the Christian instruction.

1 John 4:7-8
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
I ind it interesting that it is denied that God is a personal God. But then some repeatedly say He is unfair, and we have also been told that for God to act unilaterally makes Him an unjust tyrant kidnapping people against their will. What becomes apparent after a while is that there is hardly any line they will not cross to falsely accuse others and blaspheme God rather than admit any error on their part.I don't follow here. Never said it was. But if you are going to refute something and don't understand the subject, the conclusions you draw cannot convince anyone. You are merely talking past their points, while believing you are actually addressing them.Your reply gave the game away, Cameron.

More assumption on your part. Like many here, you deliberately ascribe to posts what even a remedial reader would find to be ridiculous. How can people say such a thing?
"I don't think you understand reformed thinking"
It beggars belief that someone could say that.
Become Reformed and be saved?
What we don't have people who aren't subject to the law obeying it.The perfect conformity to the image of the Christ.
Romans 8:29
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order
that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
They do not understand the simplicity of the gospel and the commandment.
A biblical definition of the word ‘testify’ s in the immediate context following the phrase “bearing witness” v.27, thus we have the witness. The witness is to tell the truth about what he has seen firsthand. The role of the Holy Spirit is to attest to the truth and his disciples at the same time will be empowered once the Spirit of truth comes upon them as in Acts 1:8. The Spirit who is called Comforter will not only “ come alongside” and solace in the times of adversity, trials or persecutions as they were hated but also to ‘come along’ with them empowering the disciples to testify the truth of the gospel. So when the empowered disciples begin to witness, the Holy Spirit comes alongside them testifying the truth to the hearers while the gospel truth or the scripture of truth is being preached.John 15:26 KJV — But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 15:27 KJV — And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
Who shal testify or bear witness?
Per Scripture, the Spirit of truth as well as the disciples. No problem with the unbelievers as they are in darkness so that it is the task of the disiples to Christ , bear witness, testify that Christ is the Light.
What you are trying to insert is John 14, but thats another story
Technically, the Holy Spirit will not testify to believers
Why do you think/assume we do not know that?
