When you have a system with all the answers one thinks that others can be persuaded to come over.

Isn't that the lure, we have all the answers.

But the answers they hold are wrong and just maybe we are not supposed to be "systematizing" God into a very small Calvinist box of I seek my own glory and I am the master controller!!

That's not what Scripture actually teaches, though, when people suppress the Truth in unrighteousness.

And God certainly knows the hearts of people. If that poor little boy is sincere, God will reveal
Himself to Him, but you will not hear that from HeIsHere, who claims it is unfair of God to do
so in any way that is not exactly the same as He revealed Himself to any other. Meanwhile
we have multiple Bible accounts of God doing that very thing...

Yes, it is clear they are not teaching their son the proper way to pray, according to the Bible, in Jesus' words...

But instead of pointing that out, you prefer to attempt emotional manipulation.

You have done this how many times, now? You are so transparent...

Everyone who does not have your thinking in regard to the Truth of the Gospel did not receive faith! (according to your definition)

That only TULIP waterers are saved.

And… You argue with the non-elect.
Who can not change unless God chose them as the elect in the first place.

There is an element of conceit to be found in your soul, along with the other self-righteous TULIP'ers.

Why even bother with us if you are the correct-elect?
You defy what you believe when you try to!

To try to correct the non-elect, is like trying to turn ice into kindling wood.

My question isn't about the boy. The parents did a poor job explaining the gospel. I was acknowledging this reality.
My question, however, concerns the gospel. Is the power of the gospel the power of persuasion? If so, is this the same power a writer employs when attempting to influence his or her audience?

Because God gave man volition. Without it? Man could NEVER be in the image of God.

And the Marriage Covenant has certain GUARANTEES that are part of the WARRANTY.
And God is both the Guarantor and Warrantor.

And the very fact of underlying covenants, every conceptual element, every legal technical detail debunks Calvinite-ism.

The reformers took their eyes off the prize, jumped the curb and landed in the ditch.
The damage done was immense, and as you can see, persists to this present day.

I believe..

The DESIRE to believe precedes faith.
It's a desire for something to be true.
God's grace then empowers and enables that desire, to be seen as real.

But...
That desire has to be there according to the volition of that soul.
It begins with a desire for what the Gospel says is true.

God smiles and empowers us to cause us joy to discover it is reality!

It's a childlike faith.
