@Kroogz

So simple. My kids at 6 years old understood this principle. Faith has no merit in and of itself. The merit is always in the object of faith.
Okay, since you say that, did the object of faith save you from your sins before you had faith since the merit is in the object of Faith which is Jesus Christ ?

To the Calvinites, fallen man expressing or manifesting FAITH is forbidden, and an outrage.

So is seeking Jesus, desiring Jesus, coming to Jesus, overcoming, confessing sin etc etc.
All if it "works" they say, all of it IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIES the petitioner from salvation.

All forbidden to ANYBODY that THEY SAY has not won the pre-birth lottery by which they FIRST OF ALL must be qualified to be saved.
There is NOTHING men can do they say. No hope, no repentance, no salvation, no nothing.

But this Calvinite dogma does NOT comport with the salvation of Adam and Eve, which is the pattern of all who come afterward.
Or the rest of the Bible either.

So that being said, and in light of Scripture, is Calvinite-ism an abhorrent heresy?
And another thing: is Satan pleased with the Calvinite heresy? I bet that he is. Very pleased.

Most dont believe man is dead spiritually through sin, dead in sin ! Eph 2:5

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)
There you go genius. Figure it out for yourself. I have already provided ample commentary earlier which you have ignored.
You have NO IDEA of the interpretation and types of this parable. Just to let you know.

[Luk 10:30 KJV]
And Jesus answering said, A certain [man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded [him], and departed, leaving [him] half dead.

They don't but it is critical to understanding the gospel.
Only in your addled mind.

A native on an island who hears about Jesus from the testimony of a missionary and believes him is SAVED.
No bible, no commentaries, no systematic theology, no voluminous libraries, no nothing.

And certainly no "critical understanding" of Eph 2:5.

I have heard testimony from Pastor Joe Focht about 2 young women heroin addicts who walked into his Church, heard the gospel, believed it, got saved......and BOTH died the next day from overdoses. Were they saved?

Did they possess a "critical understanding" of Eph 2:5?

You ghoulish Calvinites set up impenetrable barriers to salvation. In fact a TOTALLY impenetrable barrier.
And you wouldn't have it any other way.

Yeah, I know those verses and you're totally wrong! Those verses speak of a true believer's responsibility to share the gospel.
I'm not going to take the time and effort to parse your verses for you because you probably wouldn't be able to grasp it anyway, but
the verses @brightfame52 and I posted unquestionably show that it is God (alone) who gives someone spiritual life that was completely spiritually dead.

That's because believing comes as the result of salvation; it doesn't save anyone. One must first be saved to gain faith.
You should already know that.

And there is no such thing as being "half dead" - that's an absurdity. You're either dead or you're alive, period. There is nothing in the middle the way you mean it. Half dead is alive

{Of course they (the Calvinites) cannot harmonize Scripture.
They don't CHOOSE to do so WILLINGLY.}

All come most willingly' Psa.110:
2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

[For the most part, they are OBSESSED with damning and condemning as many souls as they possibly can,]

Do Calvinists condemn anyone? Or does their sin already condemn them, and the calvinists point that out, so they can flee from the wrath to come? Is it possible you are creating a false narrative, because you cannot effectively respond to any biblically based Calvinist?

[creating ALL KINDS of synthetic groups and categories of the "unsaved" and "unsavable" and "didn't get saved" and "cannot be saved".
Sick.]

Go ahead and quote actual examples in context of what you claim. use the 1689 Confession of faith and show examples of your unhinged claims!

Hey man. You seen to be the referee around here right?
Well I have a question for you:

1) Did Adam and the Woman "save themselves" when they confessed their sin at their trial in Genesis 3?
2) What then did God do after their confession?
3) Do you (or any Calvinite) have even the slightest idea of what I am talking about?

And another thing, when you testify truthfully at your OWN trial (and believe me you, me and everyone else is ON TRIAL right now), is this a meritorious "work"? Or nothing more than your legal, moral and ethical responsibility toward your God?

BTW buddy, Genesis 3 utterly DESTROYS the Calvinite theories root and branch.
But for some reason, the Calvinites just cannot figure out why.

Too bad so sad.
Last comment for you. Titus 3 1-11

3 Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. 3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people. 9 But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. 10 As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

Have yourself a great future, you and the non listening slander team of accusation and false witness.

Are you confused again referee guy? Did not catch on to what I was conveying in that post. Shame.

And yea, its nice to be free from the Calvinite dungeon. Never going back that's for sure.

Explain what being half-dead is? And I am not questioning Jeus's words, I'm questioning your interpretation of them.
But you're trying to nullify the words of God in Eph 2:5 (and others)

Really? Then I guess you haven't read (or understood) this verse. The Holy Spirit is only given and indwells someone when they
become born-again, as a result of becoming saved.

[Gal 5:22 KJV] 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
