That's 2 people. I know plenty in the reformed faith who reject this. But I'm sure you know better.
The one's that reject also know better.
They too, deny what TULIP indicates.

What's to reply to. You share stuff everyone knows as if you are teaching people things they don't know.
I'm not a Calvinist. I care nothing about TULIP.The one's that reject also know better.
They too, deny what TULIP indicates.
msektytyatThey should act like they do then.
The way some think here?
I seriously doubt that they understand that much...
Someone said that we are all born EVIL.
Not, born sinners.
Evidently you need to sit down and explain things to him then?
Here is what he is missing:
Believing in false doctrine is evil.
Believing in a lie against the truth is walking in evil.
Believers can fall into evil.
But Jesus did not die for evil.
Jesus died for sins only.
That is why not all believers will be welcomed with great reward and honor from God.
But... they remain saved if they believed in Jesus Christ.
Jesus did not die for EVIL.
Jesus died for every baby's sins....
Are you talking about Adam or everybody since him? It sure is something to look forward to when there won't be any more evil...
If only Adam had eaten from the Tree of Life instead! But he did not, and God knew he was not going to. And here we are, thousands of years later, grafted in... not by our desire (as Scripture plainly says) or by our effort (as Scripture plainly says) or by our will (as Scripture plainly says) but by the desire and will of God (as Scripture plainly says). I for one am grateful and may never really understand why people scream so obnoxiously about what a tyrant God is to act unilaterally. I am not saying that is you doing that. But certainly people in this thread have and do even though someone else may come along and say nobody in this thread has said such things... they most assuredly have. The say the most blasphemous things about God and then claim that is what I believe simply because they hate that I tell a truth they cannot bear.Yes I believe Every person since Adam was made subject to good and evil and so put in this position of having to choose between good and evil .
“Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast?
If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? ( this choice )
But if you do not do what is right, ( or this choice comes before a person is a servant of sin )
sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.””
Genesis 4:6-7
I think that eating the fruit caused tbat problem that we weren’t supposed to be in we were created to just walk with the lord in Eden and tend the feeder and flourish and learn from him and grow up in wisdom but what they did caused this to happen
“And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.””
Genesis 3:22 NIV
i think that’s the issue that was caused and later led to genesis 6 and mans wicked state
i believe what Adam did changed man’s situation with God bit didn’t then remove all man’s ability to choose between good and evil. I think it caused the issue where we had to start choosing between good and evil ….
Quite alright.Right. It was intended for Rufus I’m sorry I was reading your post there and meant to click on his
FTFY! Also see Gen 8:21.
And they all claim that they believe. The irony.Agree. This faulty Calvinite idea that believing is a "work" is disastrous. And dangerous.
Well, I have yet to see any reason reason to believe that they think that the Gospel is sufficient to convince people to repent and be saved. And they all claim that they believe. The irony.
But you do believe in shotgun conceptions right? I mean you did say so right? The Holy Spirit did not ask permission of Mary nor did He need it? Right? If only Adam had eaten from the Tree of Life instead! But he did not, and God knew he was not going to. And here we are, thousands of years later, grafted in... not by our desire (as Scripture plainly says) or by our effort (as Scripture plainly says) or by our will (as Scripture plainly says) but by the desire and will of God (as Scripture plainly says). I love apples! This is the good news. The bad is that I don't love all varieties of them. I only really like McIntosh (Macs for short). I'm planning a shopping trip to the stores, so I plan on "rescuing" some Macs from their supermarket prison. In so doing, I have also implicitly precluded any possibility of choosing another variety of apple to take home with me. All the other varieties I have "predestined" (determined beforehand) to exclude from my shopping list and checkout items. My determination to buy just one variety logically implies that I have also determined to exclude all the other varieties. So...that's "double predestination". I never determined to buy all varieties or just any variety. (Or to state this in positive terms: I determined to reject all the other varieties.) I determined to buy only one.
Belief is a work of faith. Faith comes by hearing. Hearing comes from the word of God. God provides the word. God provides the Spirit. God provides the hearing which leads to faith that allows belief.
God does everything necessary for faith. Why wouldn't someone who has been provided the word of God, hearing, and the Spirit not believe?
Just as the work of baptism or repentance don't save an individual, neither does the work of believing save someone. Believing is simply acting on the faith that has been produced by the word and Spirit.
Your interpretations of babies and children are disturbing
I honestly think people who bring babies into these types of convos are being manipulative.Very.........like I have noticed most people shy away from going the full length of this doctrine, they (general "they" who follow this doctrine) know they have to end up here to be logically consistent most just avoid being honest about it.
I somehow missed post #3957..... they never seem to express any sorrow about the other apples (see link #3957) who were not picked
