Jesus disagrees with that in Matthew 5..... "you have heard it said..... but 'I' say to you....."

He gave us better "laws" because they dealt with what was in our hearts, not simply what we did to obey the law. And even there, they are not really "laws", but principles that we try to adapt in our behavior, which enables us to more closely adhere to the two "laws" that he told us were most important.

sadly, the pharisees today are no more able to understand what Jesus said as those in Jesus day. and remember, they had him crucified.

Hebrews 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

When did God cease from His works?

Heb 4:4 For He (God)has spoken in a certain place (Mt Sinai) of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”

Its best to let scripture define Itself, especially when it is God speaking.

And their excuse is to claim those practitioners are acting on the premise it is a mandate,a law, the practitioner is proposing as absolutely contingent for Salvation.

You'll notice not a thing any of us say that corrects those false claims is acknowledged. The attackers just keep attacking on that same track.

Really? You think this is what Jesus is saying after just stating not a jot or tittle can pass from His law, that if we break the least of these commandments one would be least in heaven i.e. not there, but now we commit adultery and murder?

What I am insinuating is you should take the spec out of your eye before you try to take the log out of your brother's eye.

I have witnessed SDA and what they do. they are not keeping the sabbath, yet they attack anyone who does not do it like they do as unsaved.

So, again, I ask you.... what does keeping the sabbath day holy mean to you, as a Christian?
All GOD said to us was to remember it and keep it holy....
How do YOU do that, as a Christian?

I already answered this through the scriptures. But here it goes again, the day is about focusing on Christ, putting away all secular activities. Going to church, studying the bible, reasoning with the scriptures, spending time in prayer and in nature, appreciating all the things God did for us without us, spending time in fellowship with others talking about what Christ has done for us. The Sabbath is meant to be a blessing, and it is. One day when the saints get to heaven instead of celebrating the Sabbath in His Spirit, the Sabbath will go back to how it was at Creation, coming before the Lord to worship Him in His presence. Isa 66:23 I can't even imagine what that will be like. I do believe those who oppose God's Sabbath now, would not be so happy in heaven, because He says the Sabbath continues. I don't think God will force anyone to be miserable for eternity so I believe His Judgement is a Judgement of love.

No one is condemning a practice.

people are condemning the judgment and condemning to hell of people who do nto worship the sabbath as you do.

The answers are all in God's Word.

Well, this is not true, everything I said can be found in the scriptures. His Word is filled with ways to keep the Sabbath. We can follow His Word or do our own thing, no one forces us, but as a Christian, it means to be a follower of Christ.
