Not my intention at all. When Paul went to Athens, he saw a lot of altars to different gods. Among them was one labeled To The Unknown God. He went on to say that whom they were ignorantly worshipping, he would declare to them. You can read about in Acts 17 beginning at verse 21.
It is this same God that you too are ignorantly worshipping. You see Him as a harsh ruler and indiscriminate deity. You seem Him as distant and uncaring over His creation. You are not alone in this. We all began our relationship with God in this way. But at the perfect time, He came to each one of us and made Himself known. He set His affections upon us and manifested His great love to us in bringing us to Himself.
Had this happened to you already, you could not speak of God as you do. Having sought after Him and finding Him, you would know that not only isn't He distant and uncaring, but that He is a very near and present help. But I also believe that it is no accident that you have joined the site and begun this thread. The unknown god is perhaps becoming the Known God Who has been with you all along. And this is my prayer for you: that God is pleased to make Himself known to you as He truly is. And in doing so that you may find life in Him.
Praying for you.
