I have a lot of doom in my repertoire!
I'd definitely try Koeksisters. The twists here are usually just glazed. My local donut shop doesn't use cinnamon, lemon, or ginger on their twists. However, there are specialty donut shops in the big cities that have a much greater range and variety. And ones that look more like the Koeksisters.
