I ask God forgiveness multiple times a week. Think how many times you accidently swore or get angry in a week. Its not normal not to ask forgiveness.

That is the claim I keep hearing, that Trump said he did not need God's forgiveness.
It is quite different from what he actually said.

even if a person does not say something outright the meaning of one's words does not change, even when trump reads from the bible he stumbles as if he's never read it. Its dishonest of him to claim to be a Christian when he is not.

You haven't responded yet, so in case you missed this yesterday, could you tell us what you think about spreading hate speech on the internet without any regard as to who might read it and what their mental state might be?
You posted this July 25, 2024. That is after the first assassination attempt. Surely after the first attempt people should have been more concerned about spreading hate speech and inciting people to violence.

I have posted the definition of a demagogue that clearly shows that Trump fits that definition to a t. If you disagree that is fine we all have the right to have different opinions.
When I have asked Trump supporters with the definition of communist is I'm told that I'm just too stupid to understand.
I didn't ask if you were calling them as you see them, and what other people do is not a justification for what you do. Simply answer the question, do you feel that hate speech that encourages violence contributes to these assassination attempts? Do you think your comparing him to Hitler invited violence against him?

Repentance is asking for forgiveness then changing one's ways. when the holy spirit come into a person that person changes. We try are best not to sin and God helps us.

No there are other indications like what his favorite bible verse is, Its also apparent that he doesn't reads the bible. the fact that he lies constantly, how he talks about woman, as Christian we have a responsibility to lead people the right way. Is trump a good example of a Christian Politician? is he diligent like Daniel or upright like stonewall Jackson? Abraham Lincoln said "he was brought to his Knees many times in the overwhelming conviction there was nowhere else to go" does trump have this faith in God?
Trump is a public figure and we have a right to scrutinize his character. It also doesn't matter what one look like. Sturgeon was short and fat and William Wilberforce was short and skinny but when they spoke you knew exactly whose side they were on.

No I do not. The responsibility is on the shoulders of the one who made the assassination attempt and them alone. I am for free speech. I should be able to say whatever I choose without any threat of repercussion. And the same goes for you, you should be able to call Kamala a commie and call me a commie without being concerned about being implemented in any assassination attempt against her.
Let me make this loud and clear attempting to assassinate a former president of the United States is wrong and I hope they prosecute the culprit to the fullest extent of the law.

Anyone who does not see Trump as the ONLY solution is considered a traitor to the cause/MAGA movement.

I am all for the 1st Amendment. That means the US government has no right to censor your speech. But I am even more for the New Testament and we are told to be prudent, we are told with what judgment we judge we shall be judged, we are told to speak the truth in love.

Trump did not say the words you and the video and many other sources have claimed he did... Unless you have some other source. That you have interpreted what he did say to mean that is inescapable, but that doesn't change the fact that those are not the words he said. Plus you have a different definition for repentance than how I understand it and how others describe it because I've never heard repentance being asking for forgiveness. Repentance literally means to change one's mind. Look up metanoia.
Not true. Most people here would have preferred another candidate to Trump. But Trump won. Of the two viable choices left, and both being known quantities, it's simply not a difficult choice.
I can understand a Christian in good conscience not voting for Trump. I'll never understand a Christian who votes for Harris.
I wonder, can you think of anything Trump did well as President?
