Well, first of all, I didn't predict that the GOP contender wouldn't be sentenced before the election. That was just a statement that a made today. But I have felt for the last couple of weeks that they've been debating this charging date, that I wouldn't expect it to be before the election.

Current California State Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil announced that she is leaving the Democrat party to become a Republican

Her announcement started a movement in Califonia that led to former Senate Majority Leader Gloria Romero doing the same

Now, Democrats are coming after her. A disgruntled ex-chief of staff is now suing her, claiming she discriminated against and sexually assaulted him.

You can't make this up. They're trying to turn her into an example for other Democrats who even think of leaving the cult.

This is not new, and it is not "now". Examine the shenanigans of the January 6 Committee led by her for months and months and months.

But Trump Derangement Syndrome has made many so-called Republicans de facto Democrats. All the Never-Trumpers are in this group, since they were never Republicans to begin with. Also Liz is just plain stupid and evil.

In Pivotal Senate Race, Republican Takes Significant Lead Over Incumbent Democrat

Democrats hoping to maintain control of the United States Senate in 2025 have been jolted by a new poll that shows Montana's incumbent Democratic senator trailing his Republican challenger by 8 points with under two months to go until Election Day.

The AARP poll found 49% of Montana voters back Republican Tim Sheehy and 41% support incumbent Jon Tester, while the Libertarian candidate takes 4% and the Green Party, 1%.

Sheehy appears to be the beneficiary of Donald Trump's popularity in the state: The former president has a commanding 56% to 41% lead. He won the state by 16 points in 2020 and 21 in 2016.

The Democrats are defending 23 Senate seats in 2024, compared to just 11 for the Republicans. The GOP needs to flip only two seats to wrest control of the upper chamber back from the Democrats.
