"Your quote of "start a habit of having a quite rime with God and build on that" says it all!
Thank you, and I know you meant (quiet time) but hey, you come across with some soundness!" :) (y)
Well spoken, brother. :)

It's important to listen to God, recognizing Him and using His true Word. There are false Bibles. I won't say that you should read them. Listen to the Lord through His true Word and He provides light on all things.
For your edification and others I'll post a good message by Phil Stringer on the subject.

As to prayer, one should ask the Lord for His gift of everlasting life based on what He did to pay for our sins. That is a response in faith from oneself, one's idol or anything that they are placing their trust in to the true Savior Jesus Christ.

After that, there should be regular prayer to the Lord.

Seriously? Are you bored? Should we wash our face with Clorox? Why is there air? Should we not wear blindfolds when driving down the interstate? How about them Cowboys?
Yeah, this @Burn1986 started a lame thread.
Eh... This thread is from a while ago. After this happened, burn leveled out a bit. He's not so bad now, it seems.

Yes, he/she intended it to be a parody of all the "well, DUH" posts that others put here on a much too regular basis.

"Does God love us?" "Did Jesus die for our sins?"

That's good to know. I'll cut the guy a little slack then. :)

I guess I was amazed at all the “base” threads that were on the same level as this. I guess no one thinks “pray and read the Bible” would be a given to the Christian life.

Basically, you are a troll whose aim is to cause distress and strife for your own pleasure.

so can we both agree that you need to read the Bible and pray as a Christian?

You're behind the times dude. This is SO last year.

What's cool now is threads about Trump, Biden... Well, now it's Kamala... And who a REAL Christian should vote for. Because if you don't vote the way I vote, you're not a REAL Christian. You heretical, hypocritical Pharisee. :p

I know right haha. I don’t even watch any news, it’ll just make me mad. It’s easy to get caught up in.

Yes, of course. Bible and prayer go hand in hand. I practice both daily but would say that this, in itself, does not necessarily make me a good Christian. Being a Christian means Christ-like. I don't believe that I qualify.
