The only one that can heal is God. You can be of great faith and yet, God may or may not heal you. It is up to Him.
do you apply this logic to sin? Does any sinner come believing for forgiveness get met with "well if God wants to"

Is God like Zeus? acting according to whims and feelings? is He a God of fate or luck?

God has revealed His will, fully revealed His will in Jesus. His will [and He came to do the Father's will] is to heal EVERYBODY who comes to Him believing.

Until the church fully believes this, fully preaches this and fully practices this we will not see it manifested.

This guy is not a Christian but it shows how false ministry is:

If a service like Benny Hinns can be completely replicated by non-believers, you've got a problem.
I didn't have any problem understanding what you meant with this post. I agreed with you on this subject. Do you have any questions where I stand on the phony false gospel preachers like Hinn, or is it just cs1?

This is the full quote from CS1 from the context of the video I posted in response to you.

"Maybe if you stopped following those who were proven a long time ago to be unbiblical, looked at the word of God, and acted upon that, you might see the real power of God.
I don't waste my time following men like that. I have seen for myself what God can do, and half the story has not yet been told. You go ahead and seek Hinn and pop off at the mouth when the Bible says we are to flee from such types. LOL.

No.. I'm on the same page as you. CS1 one does have a point in that not all people who believe in sign gifts for today accept Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland etc..

I thought you were.

Apparently he doesn't have a point because he has no idea what we are talking about from his first sentence.

"Maybe if you stopped following those who were proven a long time ago to be unbiblical, looked at the word of God, and acted upon that, you might see the real power of God." End quote.

You and I were not saying anything that would lead someone to think I was following them or thought Hinn, etc followed the word of God. I've tried to warn word of faith friends about them since I got saved.
Like you said, not all who believe in sign gifts agree with those TV preachers. However, that was not CS1s point .
It seems to me like CS1 has issues of his own.

I'm sure his attention to the details in Scripture is comparable. 1720499581981.png

Of course you are
I love the regulation of some place on what God can do and what Jesus said we can do with HIS name ( Authority).

oe says it must be an Edler LOO Only James says to Call the elders that is one application of pray for all in the church setting.

Jesus said in Mark 16:16-18

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

There is also a faith response to receiving from the Lord, as Hebrews 4:14-16

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 11:6

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

God can say no, but He will not say yes without faith, opportunity, and Diligence.

The person seeking from the Lord Must come in faith. The Lord Himself has provided the faith needed for each situation.

Yes, we must be mature enough to accept the answer, yet Jesus Himself could not do mighty works because of unbelief.

Mark 6:4-6

4 But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” 5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

I have seen God heal, and I have seen men die after prayer. Yet I have never seen one healed who did not ask for it in Prayer or by Prayer. There are some people I would not want to pray for me as they hold a shovel with dirt to place on you as they pray some weak, wimpy prayer, knowing full well if their Life was in the balance, it would be different. There is a gift of healing from the Holy Spirit to the Church, as seen in the words of God found in 1 Corinthians chapter 12.

Many people are healed and have been healed, yet "Church folk" like to place fake rules and use the word of God out of context to control people.

" it has to be the elders." Wrong! That is one application found in James chapter 5 that anointing with oil is done by the "elders "

Which means One Mature in the Faith.
Of course, you are free to disagree with my post. But then dont claim that you are on an biblical way.
Show me that all Christians have got the gift of healing. Show me that in all the healingmeetings and services 100% of the sick people got 100% healed.
Show me that James 5 is not for today!

of course not. Apples and oranges. Forgiveness of sins was covered with Jesus' sacrifice. Healing from illness in our "fallen" bodies is not guaranteed. Otherwise, no believer would ever die....

How can anyone not believe in healing being for today ill never know.
Healing is here and will never leave, it is us the people that doubt, which causes disharmony, to me at least, I see just a little doubt, I kick me out. Even if I do not heal, as want to heal, many times, looking back I now see healing was not good for me to heal then. Hard lessons learned.
I have been shot, stabbed, beat up, torn up, left for dead, healed, not always at first, yet am here still. I will not deny God, no matter what, and have not and will not like a Job in the book of Job.
I am not a person that ever has deserved to live, I have done wrong, and can still, choose, chose not to, and to not be prideful over doing right. This walk on earth to me is a "long walk off a short pier daily"

First, your attacks are unfounded in the word of God, let alone supported by it. You have been shown time and time again in the word of God, yet you have never once provided one Biblical refutation of my position. You provided your opinion. That's okay.

I think you have a reading problem, maybe cognitive, too. I never said all have te gift of healing. Never said that, but in your mind, you create false narratives.

What the word of God says in context to the Gift of the Holy Spirit all receive WHO believe in Christ. ALL. 1corthians chapter 12: 1-11

says

1. Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: 2 You know thatyou were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:

8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues,
to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit

works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

The text is clear: the gift of the Holy Spirit is for all, and the Holy Spirit distributes them as HE WILLS.

But you don't have to worry because they don't exist anymore. You made yourself the final authority of God's word. It is you who think you have the responsibility to validate who has the gift and who doesn't why? Because you have no evidence in your own life, so you attack those who are used AS God sees fit. Please continue

Show me that James 5 is not for today!

Again, James 5 is an application that Paul said and provided more instruction in the church setting found in 1cor chapters 12 through 14. But if you follow James chapter five, which I agree with and do each Sunday, we have seen God heal cancer, Liver diseases, and many other sicknesses.

BUT let's look at James Chapter five

James 5:13-18

13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone among you sick?

Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. (If you don't pray in faith, is it safe to say nothing will happen? )

And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

(Do you confess your sins to people so that you will be healed? When read in context, there is more to using oil from the text.)

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

Please remember you said James 5,

Now, many times, those like you say, "Show me that James 5 is not for today! "

James Five States:

  1. If you are suffering, Let HIM pray
  2. If you are cheerful, LET HIM sing psalms.
  3. If you are sick, LET Him call for the elder of the church and LET THEM PRAYER OVER HIM, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord and the PRAYER OF FAITH( no power in the oil) WILL save the sick and the Lord will raise him up.
So, in your church, when you call for the elders, anoint with oil, and pray over that person in faith, are they healed? If they are not, why not? According to James 5, that is supposed to happen. The Lord is supposed to raise HIM up. Why would the Lord have you call for the elders, anoint with oil, and pray in faith to not save the sick and be raised up? I'm all ears.

4. if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
5.Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

WOW!!!!! Confess your sins to one another and PRAY for one another so that you may be healed.

Does that happen in your church, sir?

Finally :

6. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

I will break it down for you, sir,

If you don't pray in faith, if you don't call for the elders, and if you don't forgive and if you don't live a righteous life and confess your sins

The oil doesn't work; people won't be saved, healed, or delivered. If you follow "James Chapter FIVE" and those things don't happen when you do them

You're the issue, NOT GOD.

Please note James Chapter FIVE is conditional. IF you read it in context, sir,

I have never mentioned your name in this thread; I have only responded to what I see as an unbiblical attack to cover up your inability to use scripture to prove your position, as you have been asked to do many times. Moreover, many have repeatedly said we do not support, endorse, or scribe to those who are on YOUTUBE, TBN, and other media outlets when they are Fleecing the flock, unbiblical, or in error. You try to toe-tag us all in that group, which is foolishness.

I will be happy as I have done many times with the word of God to show you what I see and hold to. You do not have to agree, BUT use the word of God to prove my position wrong. That you are incapable of doing even now.

POST 35: in context Video attached to the post

I don't agree with this guy on his doctrine since I don't know what he teaches. It's just an interview of someone who was on the inside of one of the most famous word of faith ministries..(ie. "Little God's", name it and claim it, swing your jacket over your head and the whole first rows of people fall backwards.)

Thanks for reminding me about Peter Popoff. He reminds me of Robert Tillman.

Mom and I used to watch earnist Angsly for fun on TV. He'd walk up to the camera and say,
"Hold your baby up to the TV screen as a point of contact-UH. " 😆

Yes, my comment was a bit salty; please forgive me for that. But the video and those false teachers( CS1 said they were false?)

Do not in any way weaken the word of God or the gifts of the Holy Spirit for today. Laying on of hands is a ministry as the Spirit of God leads one to do. The gifts are not done away with. The word of God doesn't say that anywhere, and no one has proven that.

Why is one not seeing it as being between you and God? But lying and saying it is not for today when the Word of God doesn't say that is just as wrong as Hinn, Popoff, and anyone else you would like to speak to.

You have scriptures that backup the notion that the miraculous events of the New Testament are still going on today???

Is this your claim?

Or is your claim that you have scriptures that imply that these miraculous events should be happening today?

There's a big difference.

Yeah, I'm all broken up. I have nothing to repent for; I did not sin. You are not an authority here, and I am not. Go to your safe space.
