Hello.

I hear many Christians say that healing ended with the apostles.

I DISAGREE.

They say things like "but my pastor says..."

Or "They didn't teach that in my church", etc.

It just means that their pastor doesn't believe what he reads.

Truth is, the apostles healed the same way Jesus did...

BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

The Spirit now dwells in us, the believers.

That same Spirit works through us now.

I believe it.

I've done it.

I've seen pain go, sprains heal, devils leave, bones mend, peace come, etc. from laying hands on others.

Do I see 100% recovered?

NO.

I'm still learning and building my own faith.

I want to know your thoughts and hear about your experiences if you are doing this yourself.

It's time the believers believed.

If you don't lay hands, or don't believe you are able to heal others today, please post and let me know why.

Let's discuss this.
I, see said the blind person to the deaf person.

remembering these verses

Luke 21:14-15

New King James Version

14 Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will [a]answer; 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or [b]resist.

Seeing Pentecost, was God doing the work through the Disciples back then, God has not changed, ever. God is amazingly patient with people, as I have seen with me, amazing grace as John Newton himself saw then wrote the song "Amazing Grace"
The change for me came, comes from being a willing vessel. not one the shouts out about it, it is one that goes into one's close, and shuts the door. My Father rewards secrets of people that are not out for fame over anything they do or not do.
As Jesus healed Ten lepers. Told them to go to the priests and not tell anyone. What happened? Only one came back to Jesus. Where did the other nine go? Jesus said ti that one you are made whole, the tis beyond getting healed physically y'all

Although faith hope and love spiritual gifts still remain.
Faith, hope, and love are the Spiritual gifts nor those in question. The ones in question, manifestations of the Spirit, are those listed in 1Cor 12:8-10

Now due to my earlier answer....
I might have given an impression that God is not immanent....and I want to dispel anyone's notions by declaring that God is not distant and knows our infirmities and sufferings quite personally.
God can use our infirmities and sufferings for the ultimate good and His goals of bringing in everyone He knows is coming.

Gud puts up with us all. God sent Son for that to do that, so we can now have a personal relationship with Father of risen Son Jesus for us. To go to Father in confidence, and hear truth and learn new. At least this has been my journey, God to this day has not ever forsaken me or left me, and I have gone through troubles, and still deserve to die, therefore I see, reckon me as dead daily, learning this as a ritual to be dead to be alive, between God and me, seeing God knows best for me and wants what is best for me and everyone else too Jeremiah 29:11

You are simply making claims, nothing more.

And your claims do not match the physical supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit that are recorded in the scriptures.

"I believe it."

"I've done it."

What do you believe your claims demonstrate?

All on this thread do believe in healing for today. God can heal as He wills.

But the gift of miracles is a different matter.

There are guidelines to go by when healing is meant to happen and I've never seen a church practice them.

When I was younger, our elders would regularly go to those that were very ill, and pray over them, and anoint them with oil.
Some were healed, some were not.
It is completely up to God, and He has a plan that includes all of us.
Following some "instruction book for healing" does not guarantee healing. Only God can and does heal, and He will do so, to work His plans for us.
I knew of a young man that developed cancer... he was around 16 years old. His parents were close friends of some of our brothers and sisters at church. ALL these people were good, God-fearing/believing people. We had several group prayer sessions for him to be healed, over a period of several months.... and God chose to not heal him. Just try to tell me it was because those praying for him "didn't have enough faith" that God would heal him....

Teaching people that "all you have to do is have enough faith, and ask God for it, and you will receive it" is just wrong, and I believe that it drives people away from their belief in Him.
Instead, we need to teach that God CAN heal, if it is in His plan, but we should always pray that God's will is done, not OUR will.

I love the regulation of some place on what God can do and what Jesus said we can do with HIS name ( Authority).

oe says it must be an Edler LOO Only James says to Call the elders that is one application of pray for all in the church setting.

Jesus said in Mark 16:16-18

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

There is also a faith response to receiving from the Lord, as Hebrews 4:14-16

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 11:6

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

God can say no, but He will not say yes without faith, opportunity, and Diligence.

The person seeking from the Lord Must come in faith. The Lord Himself has provided the faith needed for each situation.

Yes, we must be mature enough to accept the answer, yet Jesus Himself could not do mighty works because of unbelief.

Mark 6:4-6

4 But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” 5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

I have seen God heal, and I have seen men die after prayer. Yet I have never seen one healed who did not ask for it in Prayer or by Prayer. There are some people I would not want to pray for me as they hold a shovel with dirt to place on you as they pray some weak, wimpy prayer, knowing full well if their Life was in the balance, it would be different. There is a gift of healing from the Holy Spirit to the Church, as seen in the words of God found in 1 Corinthians chapter 12.

Many people are healed and have been healed, yet "Church folk" like to place fake rules and use the word of God out of context to control people.

" it has to be the elders." Wrong! That is one application found in James chapter 5 that anointing with oil is done by the "elders "

Which means One Mature in the Faith.

I don't agree with this guy on his doctrine since I don't know what he teaches. It's just an interview of someone who was on the inside of one of the most famous word of faith ministries..(ie. "Little God's", name it and claim it, swing your jacket over your head and the whole first rows of people fall backwards.)

Thanks for reminding me about Peter Popoff. He reminds me of Robert Tillman.

Mom and I used to watch earnist Angsly for fun on TV. He'd walk up to the camera and say,
"Hold your baby up to the TV screen as a point of contact-UH. " 😆
Maybe if you stopped following those who were proven a long time ago to be unbiblical, looked at the word of God, and acted upon that, you might see the real power of God.
I don't waste my time following men like that. I have seen for myself what God can do, and half the story has not yet been told. You go ahead and seek Hinn and pop off at the mouth when the Bible says we are to flee from such types. LOL.

Where did I say that I ever followed Benny Hinn, his nephew, OR Popov?
I'll wait until you find it.......⏰

I gave you a chance to repent, and
You would not spend 1 minute listening to the video I posted or reading the context before slandering me.
