Destroyed The devils power of death
Heb 2:14
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
The devil had power over death, to include spiritual death. Its he that brought about the fall of Adam, causing him to sin, which wages is death Rom 5:12
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
That's why Jesus calls the devil a murderer Jn 8:44
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Now as long as we are spiritually dead, we are under the devils power, cause he has power of death, though hes defeated, but his defeat by Christ is made manifest when we are made Spiritually alive. You see if any sinner Christ died for remains in spiritual death, then the devil has the victory over Christ, and many deceivers are in the world saying sinners Christ died for will remain in spiritual death ! 61

Remember Peter preached to some jews these words Acts 3:25-26
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
Now even though at the specific time Peter was speaking to jews, people of Abrahams physical seed, the Blessing announced was not to be limited to them, for the promised blessing[ turning from sin] was of the Abrahamic Covenant and included " all the kindreds of the earth" See Gen 22:18
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. This was a restating of what God hath promised Abraham earlier here Gen 12:3
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Wherein Paul applies it specifically to the Gentles Gal 3:8
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So understand, the Blessing of individuals being turned from their sins as Peter Preached in Acts 3:25-26 was not exclusively to jewish ethnicity, but did include some of the Gentile World, those of the Spiritual Seed of Abraham. Next we will look at the specific Blessing Promised and delivered by the Christ, the Seed of Abraham, a being turned from their sins ,iniquities !

Paul makes the same point here 2 Cor 5:14
14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
The ESV captures the original meaning of this verse here:
For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died;
The all Christ died for all died with Him !
So back to our text in Rom 6:7
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Now the word freed here is an interesting word and its a legal word, its the word dikaioó and means:
I make righteous, defend the cause of, plead for the righteousness (innocence) of, acquit, justify; hence: I regard as righteous.
The ASV captures the truth:
for he that hath died is justified from sin.
So everyone, all for whom Christ died have been Justified from sin, they stand just and righteous before Gods Law and Justice, as a free gift through Jesus Christ.
Those Christ died for never can be charged with sin Rom 4:8
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
This blessed man is everyone for whom Christ died !
Its an whole world of men 2 Cor 5:19

Why is God going to send a strong delusion in the end times?
The Bible makes it clear why God is sending a strong delusion in the end times: “They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12). Simply put, God sends a strong delusion to those who choose not to believe the gospel of Christ. Those who take delight in mocking and rejecting Him, He will condemn.
It is a person’s choice whether to accept and believe the truth of Jesus Christ as presented in the Scriptures. To receive the truth and the love God offers is in keeping with its teachings, “This is love for God: to obey His commands” (1 John 5:3). Conversely, to know the truth and not obey it is to face the wrath of God: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness” (Romans 1:18). Frankly speaking, there is no more dangerous condition for man than to know the truth and refuse to obey it. To do so is to harden the heart and make God’s condemnation sure.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

vs 13 – states the same thing I have been telling you for years now, brightfame52 ... God has chosen to sanctify those who believe. That is God's choice.
vs 14 – those who do not reject God when God calls [them] by our gospel ... either by the Word having been spoken to them or they have read God's Word ... that is how God calls mankind. God has always "made the first move" so to speak. Those who reject will receive the consequence of their having rejected. Those who do not reject will receive the blessing of their having not rejected.
vs 15 – now ... stand fast (don't be moved) ...
Bottomline ... the ones who go to hell end up there because of their rejection of the gospel. The context of this passage reveals that man has already rejected the gospel of Christ. Paul says that when antichrist comes, he will come with signs and false wonders with all deception of wickedness (2 Thes. 2:8–10). These things happen for "those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved" (v. 10). When God sends the deluding influence, Paul says He does so in order "that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" (v. 12). They have chosen to reject God rather than to accept His provision of salvation.

brightfame52, Peter was speaking to a group larger than just "some jews". Peter was speaking to the whole assembly at the temple. It was still the Day of Pentecost ... the day when all males were commanded to appear before the Lord (Deut 16:16). It was the ninth hour of the day ... the same time the Lord Jesus Christ uttered it is finished and gave up His life.
now, read a couple of verses before your "selected" verses taken out of context:
Acts 3:
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

pay attention to vs 23 – every soul which will not hear that Prophet shall be destroyed from among the people
Peter was speaking to the whole nation and he quoted from Deut 18:19 ... and of the whole nation present when Peter spoke those words, many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand (Acts 4:4). Those who chose to not hear what Peter spoke shall be destroyed from among the people.
So Peter spoke to more than just "some jews" as you infer ... Peter preached to the whole nation ... those who had come to present themselves before the Lord as instructed in Deuteronomy 16.

... total misapplication of the parable the Lord Jesus Christ spoke to the pharisees and scribes who murmured against Jesus because the publicans and sinners drew near to Him (Luke 15:1).In the parable, the son who left his father's house and wasted his inheritance through riotous living represents the publicans and sinners of vs 1.
the son who remained with his father and partook of everything his father had represents the pharisees and scribes. this son was angry ... refused to go into the house (vs 28) ... was not thankful or happy that his brother had returned home.
the father represents our Father God ... the father in the parable waited for His son to return ... was watching for his son ... saw him a great way off (vs 20).
and please note, the Greek word apostrephó does not appear in Luke 15.
Quit re-writing Scripture in your futile effort to align Scripture to your dogma. Read what is written just as the Author of Scripture has written it and maybe ... just maybe ... God will bring increase and give you understanding of what He wants you to know.

nope ... prior to being born again, every believer is born dead in trespasses and sins (Eph 2:1).
In Rom 6:6 we read ... Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
until a person is born again, he or she has only the "old man" (who he or she is in Adam) in which to live (Eph 2:1).
after a person is born again, the instruction is to put off the old man (Eph 4:22; Col 3:9) and put on the new man (Eph 4:24; Col 3:10).
until a person is born again, he or she has no "new man" to put on.
2 Cor 5:14 does not make "the same point" as Rom 6:3-6.brightfame52 said:

Those who believe the gospel of Christ (which is the power of God unto salvation – Rom 1:16), are born just as dead in trespasses and sins as those who reject the gospel of Christ.
Those who believe the gospel of Christ are further instructed in 2 Cor 5:15:
2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
The born again one is to live unto Him which died for [us], and rose again ... that would be the Lord Jesus Christ. Our lives are no longer our own ... we belong to the One Who ransomed us from the power of sin and death. We live our lives as He, the Head of His body, directs.
So when we read in Scripture "put off the old man", we are to do what we are told:
Ephesians 4:
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts
The above illustrates who we were in Adam (the "old man") which we are told to put off.
Ephesians 4:
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
the above verses as well vss 25-32 illustrate who we are in the Lord Jesus Christ (the "new man") which we are told to put on.
God creates "new man" within the believer moment the he or she is born again (2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature [creation]: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new) ... that is what God works in us.
The born again one is instructed to leave the old behind and live in the new ... the new man is the life of the born again believer.
For the born again believer to continue to live in light of who he or she was in Adam is a tragedy ...
consider the instruction in Romans 6:brightfame52 said:

in Heb 2:9 we are told that the Lord Jesus Christ tasted death for every man ... that is every descendant of Adam.
then in Heb 2:10 we are told that the Lord Jesus Christ brings many sons unto glory ... i.e. not every descendant of Adam.
Hebrews 2:
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him
believers are the ones who do not neglect so great salvation.
unbelievers neglect so great salvation ... even though the Lord Jesus Christ tasted death for them. unbelievers receive a just recompense for their rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

They could not trifle with the angels' message without receiving just punishment from God. Much less, then, can we trifle with Christ's gospel. We have not an angelic saviour; but God Himself, in the person of His Son, has deigned to be the Mediator of the new covenant. Therefore, let us see to it that we do not trifle with these things. See, brethren, the punishment for disobeying the word spoken by angels was death; what, then, must be the penalty of neglecting the great salvation wrought by the Divine Redeemer himself? .Quick question. Why should someone become Christian if Christians cant agree, and think everyone is going to hell. How many golden tickets are being passed out through the Christian faith? If I tell a baptist im going to become pentecostal, they say no, their ticket is no good, but if I tell a pentecostal im going to become baptist, they say only our tickets work. Then I have to ask if god is not the author of confusion then why is Christianity so confused. It would seem the magnum opus of Satans accomplishments is what he has done to the Christian faith.

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12). Simply put, God sends a strong delusion to those who choose not to believe the gospel of Christ. Those who take delight in mocking and rejecting Him, He will condemn.It is a person’s choice whether to accept and believe the truth of Jesus Christ as presented in the Scriptures. To receive the truth and the love God offers is in keeping with its teachings, “This is love for God: to obey His commands” (1 John 5:3). Conversely, to know the truth and not obey it is to face the wrath of God: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness” (Romans 1:18). Frankly speaking, there is no more dangerous condition for man than to know the truth and refuse to obey it. To do so is to harden the heart and make God’s condemnation sure.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
vs 13 – states the same thing I have been telling you for years now, brightfame52 ... God has chosen to sanctify those who believe. That is God's choice.
vs 14 – those who do not reject God when God calls [them] by our gospel ... either by the Word having been spoken to them or they have read God's Word ... that is how God calls mankind. God has always "made the first move" so to speak. Those who reject will receive the consequence of their having rejected. Those who do not reject will receive the blessing of their having not rejected.
vs 15 – now ... stand fast (don't be moved) ...
Bottomline ... the ones who go to hell end up there because of their rejection of the gospel. The context of this passage reveals that man has already rejected the gospel of Christ. Paul says that when antichrist comes, he will come with signs and false wonders with all deception of wickedness (2 Thes. 2:8–10). These things happen for "those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved" (v. 10). When God sends the deluding influence, Paul says He does so in order "that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" (v. 12). They have chosen to reject God rather than to accept His provision of salvation.

More opposing the truth
In the parable, the son who left his father's house and wasted his inheritance through riotous living represents the publicans and sinners of vs 1.
the son who remained with his father and partook of everything his father had represents the pharisees and scribes. this son was angry ... refused to go into the house (vs 28) ... was not thankful or happy that his brother had returned home.
the father represents our Father God ... the father in the parable waited for His son to return ... was watching for his son ... saw him a great way off (vs 20).
and please note, the Greek word apostrephó does not appear in Luke 15.
Quit re-writing Scripture in your futile effort to align Scripture to your dogma. Read what is written just as the Author of Scripture has written it and maybe ... just maybe ... God will bring increase and give you understanding of what He wants you to know.
