If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

:)
Yeah, this the thing.. you gotta compare Acts 2:28 with the weight of scripture explaining eternal salvation by grace thru faith in Christ without water baptism being mentioned.

The verses with water baptism alongside remission of sin are few.. the verses with remission (forgiveness of sin) without water baptism are extensive.

A near perfect reply.

The emphasis on Jesus Christ!

"Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ, and thou Shalt Be Saved!..."
(Acts 16:31 AV)
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the
Dead
, thou Shalt Be Saved." (Romans 10:9 AV)

Well done.

Right, which is what I put, in essence, in my second post. But no one else will put out anything on how to be saved. Because they’re all scared, including this person. Yet I make a thread and all the sudden, everyone says if you pray that prayer you’re gonna go to Hell.

John 17:2-3~ You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.:)

I fully support a prayer for salvation.. but know it's gotta be believing Jesus is God, that He died and rose again.. and that by believing in Him you have eternal life.

So this may not necessarily be a verbal prayer.. but an inward conviction. That gets expressed by calling on Jesus for salvation.

So if they confess with their mouth… they will go to Hell? Just come out and say what you mean. Quit letting fear rule you,

Everyone? I have said no such thing...
I didn’t say you did. The general consensus is that the EXAMPLE I put in my OP is from the devil, and anyone who prays it, or anything close will go to Hell.

No-- they will be saved. But the confession has come from inward conviction. A person who is mute cannot verbally pray

Everyone would include me. Just pointing out that exaggerations like that do not help your case...

So again, anything close to the EXAMPLE I posted will have no effect and a person will go to Hell if they accidentally do not have enough conviction and belief? What about a young teen, who says they prayed it and want to be baptized. You’re saying that you would not allow them since there was no way to tell or judge their commitment, belief or conviction?

Okay.. look .. I agree with a prayer to be saved. The example you posted is fine (although I would not condition any kind of behaviour or work in receiving eternal life). It's just that there are people who are deaf and blind who still believe without praying. How? By their inward conviction.

Not one person who posted agreed, yet @Inquisitor goes out of his way to say “Perfect…well done” to @GRACE_ambassador ’s post which basically said the same thing, and you joined on the bandwagon
Lauding him for it,
