I do not see your name in that verse. In fact. anyone could use that verse to say they have the truth..

so you did not do what I asked you to do.

I was just saying anyone, even an elder. can study the word and still get it wrong..

As far is listening and saying what you were taught.. That assumes the one who taught you was correct.

Paul said this too.

How can anyone understand that you have correct doctrine when you can not even determine what Jesus said vs what someone else said?
