I would encourage you to focus on what He says in the Bible. That is incontrovertible and far less subject to last night's pizza. God does still speak "outside" of the Bible, but never in opposition to it.
Take the chip off your shoulder; you can't learn when you're so easily offended.
Do you apply 1 John 4:1-3 when you receive "prophetic" messages? Are you certain you can distinguish God's voice from all others?
If only you could have heard it! I wish the world could. It was unlike any voice I have every heard! For that reason, it is too hard to explain, and because God cannot be explained easily.
I'm not going to attempt to determine whether God actually spoke to you. However, because you are currently believing that Catholicism is the the truth, you are very vulnerable to false messengers which are masters of fakery and delusion.
If this is a Catholic priest ( a padre), he will not be able to preach "the right things". Roman Catholicism is a serious deviation from Bible truth and Gospel truth. That was the reason for the Protestant Reformation. If you yourself are unsure about the teachings of the Church of Rome, you owe it to yourself to begin a serious study of the Bible itself, beginning with the Gospel of John.

I was raised Catholic but left the religion when I became an adult. I disagreed with too much of their teachings.
Salvation means rescued from pain or danger. Most forms of rescue are not from death, and few like Enoch have been rescued from death. My two cents. transmute them to gold if you can.
