First he says God can't love sinners, then he says He can, then he essentially accuses me
of taking his position after denying what his position was and questioning me as if I'd made
the false claims he did. He's moved the goalposts, changed his position, and misrepresented
what I've said so many times, I don't know where to look! But I do know that when I was a sinner,

God drew me with lovingkindness. I also know that Scripture says we love because He first loved us,
and that we are to confess our sins.
I suppose some think they are sinless. We get that type here .
Well, blow me down, Ms. Magneta. You might be a latent Calvinist, after all.

Yeah...there's a name for that, as I recall.... :coffee:
My interest actually was to edify. Being right is of little value to others if they reject the message because of the messenger.

It's unbelievable. I should have known better than to expect anything different from him.
Good grief, cry me river, lady. You don't know which end is up and which is down. How can you when you don't know who the "us" are in Rom 5:8? It's no wonder you and Mr. Shiloh are soul mates; for neither one of you care a whit about understanding scripture in its context.

And being right is of no value whatsoever" when they reject the message" because they are enemies of the gospel and hate the true message.

I see, God in Son Jesus went to that cross once for everyone, for everyone to be forgiven, reconciled to Father of Son by his one time willing death alone. So we can now enter his courts by belief to receive new life from God Father in risen Son to get given us to do love to all in mercy to all also, the same as he did on that cross to Start it all. Which began the belief when seen risen (back then by many then there then) and is reported to us here today as is risen. Where new life begins, it has in me, yet I am to this day not perfect by me or of me ever.
He died willingly to give new life to us that believe, he is risen and to not condemn anyone ever again since we, at least me am not condemned by God, seeing to not condemn others at least me I see this now ever since saw, see by God I am reconciled 2 Cor 5:17-20, thank you Father and Son Romans 2:1-4

Psalm 100:4

New International Version

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

Psalm 103:12

New International Version

12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Ezekiel 36:26

New International Version

26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

You can't? It's called spiritual discernment.

Matt 7:15-20
15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Calvinism is hurting a lot of people Cameron.

Anyhow take care Cameron, but really if I was you I would get a copy of a tulip doctrine throw it in the fire and remember it no more.
Can you elaborate on your allegation that "Calvinism is hurting a lot of people".? I would love to hear about all the ways you think it is.

God sees, what is true fruit by his love for us all. That is what counts, at least for me to see truth that God loves us all regardless of each of us that have done or might still do stuff, that is not good for us to do. If one is not growing in the grace given them by God to them, then belief is or might not yet be in them. I can only speak for me in my growth understanding, 24/7 needing God to lead, not meat all.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

New International Version

7 or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

God left no one out, thanking God for this last sacrifice for us all to decide whether or not to believe God that Son is risen for us to be new in love to all, thanks
Except when he does, of course.

Acts 16:6-7
6 Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. 7 When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to.

Either one believes God or not, and God knows who is who and what is what, so I can rest medicine in continued trust to God not myself or anyone else, thanks Rufus

Wow! Jesus should have consulted with your wisdom before he so rashly spoke to his disciples in Mat 7:15-20. :coffee:

Angels can't determine between wheat and tares, but you can? You know who God will save? Would you have blown Paul off as irredeemable? You know who God will save?

While I agree one can be known by their fruit in the present, you do not know what God may yet do. That's why God desires mercy. Who knows...God might just use you to draw people to Him, rather than you pushing people away.
