Biblical hearing engenders understanding. It's clear from the response in your example that understanding was not part of the equation. When understanding was present in Acts 2, they asked what should they do. In your example, they stopped their ears and stoned a man of God. They clearly didn't possess understanding.

I showed 2 examples from Acts.. One where they stopped their ears and one when they heard the Holy Spirit fell upon them.

Besides Theres many errors in understanding Text m, so if you have a text in Hebrew that you can translate let's have a look.

All scripture indicates mankind is not free at all.

There were all kinds of strange gods. They were picking between lots of them. Idolatry was rampant at that time.

And the Messiah was a light, and God is what he is. The name YHWH means he causes things to happen.

The Hebrew word [verb] נדב naw-dab’ is a primitive root that means – to present spontaneously…primarily translated as an adverb “willingly” which indicates free motivation or voluntary decision. It is used 17 times in 15 verses throughout OT Scripture.
