For those of you who may have young children who are at an age that they will sit a listen to a good storybook being read to them, I would like to recommend the series “Hank the Cowdog”.

The series is written by John R. Erickson, a west Texas rancher and the stories are based on animals which live on or near his ranch.

Although the books are not Christian books, each one will have a good lesson taught within the pages.

The books, are intended to be read giving each animal a distinct voice of there own. The characters include two dogs as the main characters, but also include cats, buzzards, coyotes, chickens – you name it and there here, in a very well written story that will bring a smile to you face.

PS, I have no financial interest in the promotion of his books other than to say they are well written and you will find them enjoyable, even if your not a child.

If you are interested, perhaps you can find one in a used bookstore to try. - Good reading

I hope for their own sake he isnt serious.

I think he is like a dog who barks a lot but doesn't bite.
He knows his regime will end if he does anything stupid, but he has to boast internally for his people because ... that's what a dictator does.

Religious leaders in Boston demand 'white churches' give millions in reparations to black residents for owning slaves - and want the city to pay $15 billion

The event at Resurrection Lutheran Church was organized by the Boston People's Reparations Commission, which made the $15 billion demand.
One of the speakers was Reverend Kevin Peterson, who wants to rename Faneuil Hall marketplace due to Peter Faneuil, the wealthy merchant who built it, being a prominent slave trafficker in the 1700s.
'We call sincerely and with a heart filled with faith and Christian love for our white churches to join us and not be silent around this issue of racism and slavery and commit to reparations,' he said.

That's just outright STUPID. Most STUPIDEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!!!!! I hope ALL people stand up against that. There haven't been slaves in THIS country since Lincoln abolished slavery back in his time!!! we ARE NOT slaves (except to the government)... in which case THEY should pay US restitution for stealing our money all these years via excessive taxes!!!
