God made man in his own image。The meaning of this sentence is not only that human beings have one head, two arms and two legs.
It is that we should catch up with God's knowledge and wisdom in wisdom.
Just as human beings can make mobile phones with technology.This is similar to the magic of God or power of God.
But the difference is that we need to study and learn.
Like Fortune-telling belongs to the knowledge of heaven..For some reason, it was taught to mankind by angels.
Like Sodoma and Gomorrah were destroyed by God.Humans have mastered similar abilities, nuclear weapons.Even if it was meteorites that destroyed Sodoma and Gomorrah.Over time, humans can do it, too.
But God has not restricted mankind from acquiring such ability.But human beings have chosen to stand with God or with the devil.
Thank You for clarifying. Sometimes when we read a response it's a short version to what someone is thinking in a longer version.
I believe you jumped too fast on that one.
Adam was not deceived as far as knowing the command by the serpent was wrong.
But, the point I made, was that Adam did not know it was Satan speaking via the serpent.
Two different deceptions....
Easy to miss....

The word says our image.
It doesn't say Gods own image.
It says in likeness to our image
It doesn't say in likeness to God's own image.
Please notice the word our.
Please also notice, making a creation in our image, is an image made up of more than person.
It can't be an image of God only.
It has to be an image that they all see.
Which makes it a created image. as in a picture. And a likeness to that pictures. Which means they all agree and like that picture in there likeness. Or image
Which means they all have to have likeness for that image
Balaam probably thought the same .
God used Balaam's ass to reach Balaam who was in a spiritually psychotic state.
Interesting to just learn this morning from my pastor that the ass actually spoke in a very eloquent form of Hebrew.
God was getting the insane Balaam to hear with what was fitting for his insanity.

So your whole premise is based on an idea based on different scripture.
The bible tells children of God to be as wise as serpents, on that note is God telling you to be as wise as satan.
Oh and then theres two scriptures that suggest satan fell after fall, I bet you know which scriptures they are.
"Our image" here is clearly meaning the father , son and holy spirit.
I hope You don't want to hint at Gnosticism.
It's says in our image it doesn't say in a Gnosticism image. You said in God's own image.
Its says in our image.
The Bible says the father, son and Holy spirit created the world. So our image here is the father, son and Holy spirit which is meaning the God.
