Your scenario does not fit all the "time of the end" timeframes together. You can't fit 1290 days, 1335 days, 2300 days into 1260 days.

Also your scenario does not follow the sequence in Daniel 12...

1260 days...then the war in (the second heaven)......then Satan cast down to earth having a time, times, half time left.
Yes Doug ,think real hard.

The ten horns and the beast from the abyss have attacked Jerusalem and have taken control of it.They are celebrating for 3.5 days .

Then the Lord comes to Jerusalem and calls the two witnesses up into a cloud.

How long does it take for the Lord to destroy those nations that have attacked Jerusalem. This is the plague the Lord smites those nations with.

Zech 14
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

How long do you believe it will take the Lord to destroy them?

Like I just said. You will ever learn.Everytime you see a number you think you should add it to a list of numbers you have obtained from many books and chapters. If it were up to you there would never be a time of the end because you have never stoped adding all the numbers .
You are being cynical, not factual. The timeframes on my charts are timeframes taken from the time of the end passages in the bible.

How long do you believe it will take the Lord to defeat them?
The beast-king and the false prophet will be cast alive into the lake of fire - on the day that Jesus returns.

The abomination of desolation standing statue image of the beast-king will be turned to ashes - on the day that Jesus returns.

The armies that will have assembled at Armageddon will be destroyed - on the day that Jesus returns.

Satan will be chained and cast into the bottomless pit - on the day that Jesus returns.

What does any of that have to do with the failure of your scenario to account for the 1290 days, the 1335 days, and the 2300 days ?

So you believe the beast from.the abyss and the ten nations that attack Jerusalem will be destroyed on the day of the Lord which is 3.5 days after they have attacked and killed the two witnesses and taken Jerusalem?

Zech 14

14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Or you believe the Lord won't be able to defeat them for another 3.5 years?

How long Doug?

So you believe the beast from.the abyss and the ten nations that attack Jerusalem will be destroyed on the day of the Lord which is 3.5 days after they have attacked and killed the two witnesses and taken Jerusalem?
That's your scenario, not mine. You scenario does not work because it is not built on the 7 years, and thus does not have the 1290 days, the 1335 days, the 2300 days accounted for in it.

Or you believe the Lord won't be able to defeat them for another 3.5 years?

That is not an amount of time Doug.

You know what time is.Here are some examples,1 day,3 weeks 3.5 years,7 years,30 years?

Your always bragging about your time line charts and how many days it takes.

Now I'm asking you, exactly how many days does it take the Lord to destroy the nations that have taken Jerusalem?

What do you not understand about "on the day that Jesus returns" Jesus destroys the armies of the nations that have surrounded, occupy, Jerusalem and have taken half the city as hostages.

So you don't know.

The answer is 3.5 days. From the day the nations kill the two witnesses and capture Jerusalem.3.5 days later the Lord comes to Jerusalem and destroys them.

Revelation 11
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Right there Doug,in verse 18 is where they are destroyed. It doesn't take the Lord 3.5 years to destroy those nations as you have been claiming. They are destroyed right then.

Zech 14
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

It doesn't take that long to be consumed.

So your saying they are given authority by God to disobey his only son and their master whom God has given all authority too?

Mathew 28:18

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”

So why do you believe God has taken all authority away from Christs servants don't have to obey him?
Where does it say they disobey? That is your opinion that they are not obeying.

Zech 4:11-14 11Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? 12And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? 13And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 14Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

I hope you know the son of perdition's armed forces arrive in Israel the same time these two prophets arrive and stay for the same amount of time.Im just saying.
Most probably they are witnessing against the son of perdition.

Jesus's commandments to his witnesses are in the gospel. Can you show any scripture where Jesus commands his witnesses to kill and toment other people?

Do unto others as you would have done to you.

All I can say is they sure must want to be tormented because that is what they do.Torment other people and kill them. That is what the scripture says they do.

Most probably they are witnessing against the son of perdition.
Seeing they give orders to fire,I'd say they are in the son of perdition's military where 70 percent of that military claims to be Christian.Talk about a falling away.

Revelation 11
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

FIRE COMMANDS
B-73. Fire commands are oral orders issued by leaders to focus and distribute fires as required achieving decisive effects against the enemy. They allow leaders to rapidly and concisely articulate their firing instructions using a standard format

Two witnesses arrive in Israel in Daniel 11:31
They are killed. In Daniel 11:40
They stand on their feet and as end into heaven in a cloud on Daniel 12:2

All this takes place in 42 months.

Daniel 12
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

The most important word in the entire verse is the word ALL because I'm not convinced it should be part of the text. That word easily causes interpretational problems.

Hi smudge , and welcome to CC... I see you're fairly new here. Hope to see you around the board. :)

Here's what I'm seeing in that verse:

For the word "all," this:

כָּל

(as shown within this: אֶת־כָּל־הַגּוֹיִם [color emphasis mine])

-- Blueletterbible shows here: https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/zec/14/2/ss1/t_concif_925002

[and]

--BibleHub shows here: https://biblehub.com/text/zechariah/14-2.htm

It's apparently the word "H3605 - kāl / kōl " - https://www.blueletterbible.org/lexicon/h3605/kjv/wlc/0-1/ ...

[and here...] https://biblehub.com/hebrew/3605.htm

H3605 - kāl / kōl

meaning, "all, whole"... ; and under "Strong's Definitions": "כֹּל kôl, kole; or (Jeremiah 33:8) כּוֹל kôwl; from H3634; properly, the whole; hence, all, any or every (in the singular only, but often in a plural sense):—(in) all (manner, (ye)), altogether, any (manner), enough, every (one, place, thing), howsoever, as many as, (no-) thing, ought, whatsoever, (the) whole, whoso(-ever)."

Your thoughts?

Again, welcome. = )

True.I don't believe it's all.Pethaps all the nations in the promised land or all the known nations during Zechariah time.As I understand it,it is all the nations from Persia to Egypt. At least those are the nations I know of that are destroyed.
I don't believe China,Brazil, and Canada are even involved nor would care to be.

34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

It clearly says they are God's witnesses. You are twisting the truth.

3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
