People are making a big stink that Nathan Wade, the community college lawyer with the ambulance chasing practice that Fanni Willis hired was billing people for the work he was doing 24 hours a day, so not just the time spent at the office, but also the time spent at home, in the shower, in the bed. And also that much of this time spent preparing for these cases involved trips he and Fanni took together which led to his divorce. But we should empathize with Nathan, he knew what he was being paid for and apparently the time at home and in the shower was the worst part of the job, so of course he would bill for that time as well.
