I sent a 'friendly' because I agree with the point you made in this post, but I have to say I don't agree that the statement was offensive "because it equated those who believe in a spherical earth with abortionists." I would say that the statement was taken to be offensive because some equated the two, though the statement itself did not do so. But somehow I think you understand this and I'm not actually correcting you on it. And I'm certainly not stirring the pot. This makes two threads I've started in all sincerity that have already been filled with irrelevant discussion.
While technically that is correct, further posts, as well as the initial post, suggest the inevitably of one belief.leading to the next. I personally am not bothered by the way others present their ideas or the implications they make, but the fallen nature needs little in the way of provocation to find offense.
As far as threads going awry, I am as guilty as anyone concerning this for a number of reasons. But it is difficult to consider a particular topic without ancillary topics arising as well.

I don't have a problem with "ancillary" topics arising; it's human nature. I'm just disappointed when they completely overtake the thread topic before I can even get back to it, catch up with my reading, and try to keep it on topic. I don't have the time to log in every day, and that's not really anyone's fault, not even mine, but I just prefer a more thorough methodical approach to topics than most on this site.

Only if I can convince myself it's worth it to start another thread.

This is true. Moses did not just say "Heliocentricity is a gateway belief to Abortionism." He said:
One might say that Heliocentricity is a gateway belief to Abortionism.
He made an observation that one might say that.

One might also say that my dog is a space alien who was cursed by a witch. I didn't say my dog IS. I only made the observation that one might say that. In fact I could probably google up a fringe group that would make that exact claim.

But I didn't make that claim myself. Technically I only made the observation that it was possible for somebody else to make that claim.

Yeah man... they're all out to play trick on your mind man.

Did you know if you wear a tin foil hat, the aliens and the government won't know what you are thing about!
Everyone looking at me in my tinfoil hat: "I wonder what he's thinking?"

Me thinking: 'It's Elvis' Birthday today. I wonder if the aliens still have him, or if he's back on earth?'

Not sure how this one caught my eye, but when it did it almost put my eye out...

There are so many kinds of wrong attached to this post. None of my family, nobody in my church, only very few people at my job believe abortion is right, but I don't personally know a single person in real life who believes the Earth is flat.

This is like saying being able to drive a car is the gateway to becoming morbidly obese. Well they wouldn't be able to get to McDonald's if they didn't know how to drive, right?
The context referred to Democrats choosing Flat Earth instead of Abortion would be a step up. My point was that most Democrats (i.e. today's Democrats) are Democrats because they're not too good on science/logic/deduction etc. - pretty much anything in the brains department. Basically, if they're stupid enough (yet so devoid of compassion/love also!) to think murdering a kid is okay, the idea that they can get over the brainwashing of ball-Earth would be like the cow jumping over the moon.

Above said, lots of MAGA/Republicans of late have surprised me, by stating its okay to murder Palestinians because (Rothschild state of) Israel. However, this thread isn't really about politics or war - I think I've probably clarified the reason for my previous post enough? :)

I noticed that you changed it - which you are entitled to, of course, within the 5 minute limit - but, my point is - that you are moving in the direction of troll-like behavior yourself with the 'insults'.
It could be that some people get their feelings hurt really easily and they lash out at others by calling them dreaded "trolls"

Eh, he's back on earth now.

He's entertaining the troops in the bunker under the Denver airport.

good for you, but why would you associate paranoia to just demons 🤔

That's a bit cruel isn't it.

It's like saying if you get paranoia your a demon.

Paranoia is associated with fear... and that comes from the devil.

Christians are told by Jesus to cast the devil out in His Name (Mark 16:17), and we are to submit ourselves to the Lord resisting the devil and he will flee (James 4:7) and take his paranoia demons with him!

Different kind of fear man.

Jesus said the fearful (cowardly) will burn in the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8) so you might want to study the subject of fear and notice the difference between the fear of the Lord and fear that sends people to hell.

Your writing is all wonky over there... you OK? Do you need a mental health professional?

Jesus also taught people how to overcome many types of fear without mentioning demons or hell.

Get a grip man

All tho your type would be quick to ridicule that which isn't very Christian at all.

And no matter what you say to me, you will not succeed in winding me up or insulting me

Get it man.

Is it really? Or is it associated with suspicion? For years, some of us have been suspicious of vaccines, and have been called anti-vaxxers and endured epithets claiming we were paranoid. But with all the information coming out about the covid-vaxx corruption and dangers now, it would seem such suspicions were well-founded. I think sometimes, paranoia can be a subjective assessment.

Just because one claims someone is trying to kill him doesn't make that one paranoid - in some cases, someone really might be trying to kill him.
