Oh good... more enlightening conversations on CC. We give the world too much ammunition against us in these threads.

I was at a plant and garden show last spring... A landscaping company has this flameless outdoor fireplace set up on display, and I loved it (way out of my price range, lol, but I loved looking at it.) You feel a slight heat at the very source of the "flames," but it's not hot at all.
One little boy was sitting on the edge and had his whole hand engulfed in the "flames."
So this picture is my own take for myself. It reminded me of the story of Moses and the burning bush that was on fire, but didn't burn up, and the passage:
Isaiah 43:2 -- "... When you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

Will we flinch in Heaven?
When a wasp (who will no longer have a stinger) buzzes past my head, will I automatically dodge? Will my heart rate speed up?
When a bug flies right into my arm, will I automatically swat it off?
Will those reflexes fade over time? "Don't worry newbie. After the first five years here you wind up not even blinking when a hornet hits you right in the face."
Will my new body just not have those reflexes at all? Or will it have user-modified reflexes that I can consciously tune to my own preferences?
It doesn't keep me awake at night, but my brain keep chewing on it while I'm not busy with anything else.

I would venture to say that - in Heaven - you would not have to ever be concerned that a bee/bug/etc. would hit you or "come too close" in the first place...

In all of eternity, you don't think a bug will collide with you even once?
Its easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich person to enter heaven
I think its in the Bible somewhere. I guess they dont want to lose all their jewellery? Maybe they check out your bank account. If you could afford everything in heaven, then you stay on earth and make your own paradise. If you cant, then welcome on in!
