For those who believe in the Bible but don't believe Jesus is the Messiah

There are certain prophesies concerning the Messiah who was to come, especially concerning his genealogy.

Consider Jesus' genealogy in Matthew, proving beyond any doubt that God's fingerprint was on this genealogy.

1. The number of words which are nouns is exactly 56, or 7 x 8.

2. The Greek word “the” occurs most frequently in the passage: exactly 56 times, or 7 x 8.

3. Also, the number of different forms in which the article “the” occurs is exactly 7.

4. There are two main sections in the passage: verse 1-11 and 12-17. In the first main section, the number of Greek vocabulary words used is 49, or 7 x 7.

5. Of these 49 words, The number of those beginning with a vowel is 28, or 7 x 4.

6. The number of words beginning with a consonant is 21, or 7 x 3.

7. The total number of letters in these 49 words is exactly 266, or 7 x 38-exactly.

8. The numbers of vowels among these 266 letters is 140, or 7 x 20.

9. The number of consonants is 126, or 7 x 18-exactly.

10. Of these 49 words, the number of words which occur more than once is 35, or 7 x 5.

11. The number of words occurring only once is 14, or 7 x2.

12. The number of words which occur in only one form is exactly 42, or 7 x 6.

13. The number of words appearing in more than one form is also 7.

14. The number of 49 Greek vocabulary words which are nouns is 42, or 7 x 6.

15. The number of words which are not nouns is 7.

16. Of the nouns, 35 are proper names, or 7 x 5.

17. These 35 nouns are used 63 times, or 7 x 9.

18. The number of male names is 28, or 7 x 4.

19. These male names occur 56 times or 7 x 8.

20. The number which are not male names is 7.

21. Three women are mentioned-Tamar, Rahab, and Ruth. The number of Greek letters in these three names is 14, or 7 x 2.

22. The number of compound nouns is 7.

23. The number of Greek letters in these 7 nouns is 49, or 7 x 7.

24. Only one city is named in this passage, Babylon, which in Greek contains exactly 7 letters.

This is the Heptatic structure which is God's structure. He created the earth in 7 days. He is the one who commands you to keep the sabbath. Jesus, the Messiah, claimed He was Lord of the Sabbath.

The odds of this happening by chance is 7^24th power, or 1 in 200 quintillionin.

The number “seven” permeates the totality of Scripture because the number speaks of God’s divine perfection and perfect order. The actual number 7 appears 287 times in the Old Testament (7 x 41 = 287) while the word “seventh” occurs 98 times (7 x 14 = 98). The word “seven-fold” appears seven times. In addition, the word “seventy” is used 56 times (7 x 8 = 56).

  • The seven years of famine
  • The seven years of plenty
  • The seven trumpets marching around Jericho
  • The seven plagues
  • The seven demons it came out of Mary Magdalene
  • The seven indictments to the scribes and Pharisees announced by Jesus
  • The seven words of Jesus pronounced on the cross
  • The seven golden lampstands
  • The mystery of the seven stars
  • The seven seals
  • The seven letters addressed to the seven churches
  • The seven trumpets
  • The seven thunders
  • The seven kings
  • The seven heads of the beast
  • The seven plagues of the seven bowls

Always nice to see spirt filled Christians trying to troll and taunt a widow. Truly Christ's love and the spirit of G-d is flowing through the evangelical community.
Hi - on another note something on one of the other chats which you maybe be able to help;

Genesis 22:2 - 'your only son Isaac' - how would you explain only son when God would know how many sons Abraham has and confirms Ishmael as ‘thy seed’ & make into a ‘great nation’.

You may also be able to help me with, how can Moses have written about his death;

Deut 34:5-10 – Moses death
8 And the people of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

10 And there has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,

Exactly, it's a communication process with us in Christ. If someone sins and they
don't hear or feel God chastising them, they better re-examine their walk in God.
Perhaps my mentioning the thread title (which was also a link to that thread) was the cause of the misunderstanding? Oy. Anyways, it was helpful to many because lots think/feel/believe there is something they must do after they repent and believe. and I do not mean like getting baptized or fellowshipping with other believers. You are a former RCC like others here? So you must have some sense of Catholic guilt. Or maybe a vague memory LOL. Some are eaten up by their sense that they are not good enough. Whoa. Well, none of us are! So learning how to fully trust and rest in Christ takes some doing. Maybe some undoing also. And lots of practice, for some. I know it did for me! Life lessons. So as much as there were those who maintained that you must do this and you must do that (such as keeping the Sabbath or any number of the 613 mitzvot) there were also those who maintained that we are saved by grace through faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ, Who gave His life as a ransom for many, the any who would believe in His propitiatory sacrifice as the payment for their debt due to sin, and therefore be reconciled to God, escape the second death, and attain to life ever after. People need to hear (and rest in) that.

1. As I understand it, the Hebrew can also be translated as "beloved whom you love". I'll ask my rabbi who speaks classical Hebrew.

2. If G-d knows everything he can certainly tell Moses when his time is ending. Another theory is Joshua finished the last portion. We don't know, and that's okay.

1) interesting, look forward to the rabbi's response.
2) Deut 10 does imply someone looking back - so someone else probably did finish it - point noted, but then it should not be attributed to Moses

The reason why Moses can't enter the promised land is that God wants to lead Israel himself. It's not because Moses did something wrong.Because Moses was Pharaoh's adopted son.People usually acquiesce in this authority. But later became the anointed one is the king of Israel,That's because it heralds the birth of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel of Mark
14:6 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.
14:7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
14:8 She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.
14:9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

These are the New Testament Laws for the Gentiles who are in Christ. Still effective to this day.
You say that as if you do not claim that only Paul taught against keeping the whole of the law.

Asso, Sabbath keeping was not given as a commandment in the NT.

I have a clear conscious. But if God lives inside me, why would I want to pollute God with sins that grieve or quench Him? And the fact that I want to seek forgiveness is because God tells me to. Not because I feel guilty. What I actually feel is shame. And if ever feel justified after sinning, I am a heretic to God.

You do, or are You aware, these 4 basic Laws "abstain from idols, no sexual lewdness, no strangled food, no eating blood" effectively covers all 303 Mosaic Laws, similar to the two Commandments cover the entire 10 Commandments. And these are for anyone who now is saved. As a saved person, is it a sin to have idols and worship them? Yes. As a saved person, is it a sin to have sex before marriage-be homosexual-commit adultery-etc? Yes. And the other 2 cover the food Laws.

Just curious but if the Apostles and disciples gave letters to Barnabas and Paul in Acts 15 and again Peter in 2Peter 3:15 why should we not use Paul's writings? https://biblehub.com/2_peter/3-15.htm
You guys are getting "way off" of my original post to the thread creator. She thought Jesus commanded us to end the Law. But He never did. I said it came after Him and I mentioned more specifically about Paul. And now You guys are on a tangent unrelated to my conversation with the Op.

No, the point is I am merely answering the Op that Jesus did not end the Law, like She said or is taught as so. Why we are talking about this other baloney that has nothing to do with my conversation to Her. No wonder She don't want to be like us.

You have been responding to my posts... and I to yours.

I did not realize our convos were supposed to be about just that. We're 25 pages in... that's close to 500 posts.
