You should get better Christian friends to hang out with than those teaching the false doctrines of the OSAS peoples
don't you believe God is faithful to complete the work He began in you?

I recall hearing tell that there was a practice where the sentence of a murderer was to have the corpse of his victim attached to him. I didn't research the validity of this claim but nonetheless it caused me to consider if it might be something similar in regard to being yoked to Christ. I'm dead in Him, and He lives in me. He loves you in me, even while you're getting on my every nerve, in Him. I'm dead in Christ, He lives in me, and so I live in Him. I can want to 'go there' with everything I have but, well, I'm dead, and He refuses to "take me there," so... here I am...

Of course... but He does not do so to those that refuse to walk with Him.

The Lord is not forcing Himself upon anyone.

Romans 1:28
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

These folks had the knowledge of the Lord but turned away and at some point the Lord let them go simply because He sovereignly decided to give man free will and if man wants to depart from Him... He has to let them go

There's example sof this all over God's Word... such as the prodigal son teaching Jesus provided.

I think Jimmy prefers to go it alone.

Romans 1:28 isn't talking about saved people who became lost by failing to keep themselves saved. see vv18-21, the knowledge they have is the knowledge all. mankind has about the invisible qualities of God which are made manifest by the things which are seen.

None of the OSAS believers I know teach a license to sin. In fact knowing salvation is secure propels most to more faithfulness beause they are secure in the confidence in Christ.

Romans 6 is about not using grace as an excuse to sin
I'm going down to the DMV tomorrow to apply for mine.
After that I'll be allowed to sin all I want as long as I renew my license with the state and pay proper fees each year.

It is speaking of those that had the knowledge of God... so it couldn't be talking about sinners who had never been born again since they've never had the knowledge of God.

Surely you aren't suggesting that Christians can reject God and still be saved are ya?

That's in opposition to God's Word and is what the heretic Gnarly Charlies Stanley teaches!

In his book, Eternal Security, Stanley says

"Even if a believer for all practical purposes becomes an unbeliever, his salvation is not in jeopardy” (Chapter 10, p. 93)

“Christ will not deny an unbelieving Christian his or her salvation because to do so would be to deny Himself” (p. 94).

“Believers who lose or abandon their faith will retain their salvation, for God remains faithful” (p. 94)

He actually taught one can be a "gay christian" and still go to Heaven proving he is a false teacher!

Here's a video where you can see video of Charlies saying this (just a few minutes into the video)

In this video, Gnarly Charlie says he's proud of Andy and supports him after heresy charges

I spilled my ice tea at dinner a while back... so this shows I'm not perfect in the literal sense like Jesus was when He walked Club Earth.

Cause Jesus ain't never spilled His ice tea! disagree.gif

Man Declines To Join Accountability Group So As Not To Discourage Everyone With His Perfect Righteousness
CHRISTIAN LIVING·Sep 2, 2023

EDMOND, OK — Local man Jimmy the Lock declined an invitation to join a men's accountability group today, not wanting to embarrass the other men with his complete and total righteousness.

"I just don't want to make people feel bad with my holiness," said Mr. Lock, "For everyone else's sake, I think I'll pass."

While seeing the value of accountability groups for fallen people mired in sin, Mr. Lock felt his presence would only add to their shame. "My perfection would just make the blackness of other people's souls even more apparent," said Mr. Lock. "Black looks even blacker when you put it next to dazzling, pure white. It would just be so discouraging for everyone else."
John Peters, who had extended the invitation to Jimmy the Lock, admitted feeling quite silly afterwards. "I had no idea Jimmy was perfect in righteousness," said Mr. Peters. "Obviously, if you've already attained the beatific vision, our accountability group probably isn't a great fit. My mistake."

Breaking News!

EDMOND, OK — Local man Jimmy the Lock spilled his ice tea at dinner tonight proving he is not perfect in the literal sense.

"I never claimed to literally be perfect, I'm simply living according to God's Word which tells us that Whoever abides in Christ sins not (1 John 3:6) as well as He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8)" Mr. Lock was quoted as he was drying off his shirt with a towel.

Mr. Lock also added, "The false OSAS teachers cherry pick God's Word only accepting a few select verses to prop up their fake gospel that leads everyone to believe they can't help but sin everyday in thought, word and deed...it's shameful they have bibles and don't even understand newness of life!"

Stay tuned for more details of this late breaking news!
