Thank you, yes, it was very tasty, and we did have a lovely visit together. I wonder if a Japanese steak house would serve sushi? They probably do! Japanese food is generally not spicy, but you can spice it up with the accompanying sauces, and of course it depends what you order. I think there may have been some jalapenos on my daughter's roll, but they are easily removed, same as the green stuff that comes with sushi, heh, what is it called? Ah! It is wasabi, a spicy green paste made with Japanese horseradish. That and thinly sliced pickled ginger often or always accompany many Japanese fish dishes, which as I mentioned are made of raw fish. Raw salmon is lovely also but I more often go for tuna though usually a California roll and tempura are more than enough, and I always have leftovers. But there is a wide variety of fish and even octopus but that would be very chewy LOL.
