I am not venturing to say that myself. Sorry.
The Spirit of God descended like a dove on Jesus when the Spirit of God descended on His disciples as tongues of fire. Doesn't that make you wonder at the significance of that?

No. But I would like to know now that you mention it.The Spirit of God descended like a dove on Jesus when the Spirit of God descended on His disciples as tongues of fire. Doesn't that make you wonder at the significance of that?
I am a Christian. I do not follow Christianity. This means that I accept the Bible but I do not accept Christian doctrines that are not found in the Bible.
NASB20
Christian
Acts 26:28 NASB20 - Agrippa [replied] to Paul, "In a short [time] you [are going to] persuade me to make a Christian [of myself.]"
1 Peter 4:16 NASB20 - but if [anyone suffers] as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name.
Christians
Acts 11:26 NASB20 - and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers of people; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
I am open to discussion of matters of this concern. If you think that I am out to lunch let me know. Otherwise I would just say I am a Christian and an adherent of Christianity.
Psalms [[is not]] any part of the Law.God's name is Yahveh. Or, Yahweh if you follow the ancient paleo a certain way. In any case, God's name is made up of the Hebrew letters YOD HEY VAV HEY. Or, YOD HEY WAW HEY. I read the vav in the modern Hebrew of the Torah text. I don't know how to pronounce God's name.
Do you believe the following?
Psalm 82:6 KJV - I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High.
John 10:34 KJV - Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
the Apostle Paul, called him [...the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us...]I do not believe that Jesus said that He is God. I do not believe that others said that He is God.

Yes, a believer does have faith in Jesus, but faith is given by God‘s gift of GRACE. It is written in Ephesians 2:8: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."Because the Bible says that we are to have faith in Jesus.
Are you in personal, vital, one on one relationship with the Lord and Savior?I am a Christian. I do not follow Christianity. This means that I accept the Bible but I do not accept Christian doctrines that are not found in the Bible.

Elizabeth Warren is an indian. Are you in personal, vital, one on one relationship with the Lord and Savior?![]()
Excellent question. There is God, there are angels and there are humans. What 4th category do anti-Trinitarians place Jesus in? What less-than-God category would that be?if Jesus was not God on earth, then who is he to you??
Amen! Look at the reaction from the Jews in John 10:33 - The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God." The Jews clearly understood Jesus’ statement as a claim to be God. In the following verses, Jesus did not correct the Jews by saying, "I did not claim to be God." That indicates Jesus was truly saying He was God by declaring, "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30) Not merely one in unity, but also in essence/nature.And Jesus said He was His Father. You don't have to completely grasp it; just believe it because the Bible says it.
John 10:30
“I and my Father are one.”
Amen! Now read the Amplified version. Colossians 2:9 - For in Him all the fullness of Deity (the Godhead) dwells in bodily form [completely expressing the divine essence of God].Colossians 2:9 KJV
“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
I like how the NASB renders and amplifies that verse.
I disagree with you on this. I believe it is something we may grow to accept. That is my personal experience. You cannot receive salvation until you acknowledge Jesus' deity.
Either you are intentionally playing word games or you don’t understand the words you use. The word “deity” means “god”.No. I am not. I have said elsewhere that I believe in the Deity of Jesus. I just don't believe that He is God.
The problem with Christianity is denominations: denominations = division which is condemned by the bible. You are of the right mindset to want to follow only the bible, ad I do too; but in that regard, you must look for the church of the bible, that adheres strictly to it and follows its precepts. Clues to the church, its organization, and hierarchy can be found in Titus and 1st Timothy. The bible says not foresaking assembly as some do Hebrews 10:25, so, you must assemble with the church to worship God on the 1st day of the week and partake of the symbols accordingly, the Lord's supper.I am a Christian. The problem with searching for a church in that way is that generally a person dont know enough to make that decision. It takes time and study and teaching (found in the church) to know what the bible says. So when one adhoc rejects the church and its doctrines (especially foundational doctrines that are universal church wide) they have set themselves up for failure. This mind is not a good one, its rebellion and not on the basis of sound Biblical understanding but on the basis of self aggrandizement. This is the Dunning Krueger affect in action. The problem with Christianity is denominations: denominations = division which is condemned by the bible. Try here. Non-denominational.
