In heaven we will have a body of flesh and blood. Very interesting because angels can take on human form

I find it particularly interesting that, though it is common knowledge that methuselahs' death 'brought the flood,' going by the chart, it is apparent that the flood caused Lamech's death.
And more than that his name actually means "his death shall bring (judgement)". Yea old school Hebrews didn't make this stuff up as they went. Our God is amazing.

@JohnB If you want to experience this stuff, double down on your prayers for a wifey in this lifey.
I've done that, did things no one else would have done.....online dating, singles groups, busy in ministries, speed dating, collage classes, out going.....all with the same results. It's like GOD directing your path in a direction you really hate going.

Have you tried the 'looks are not important' approach? You can use that phrase in your online personal ad. You might just be married off in no time.

Then just turn the lights out at certain times.

You could also try the overseas Christian orphanage for blind girls when the girl turns 18, somewhere where they do arranged marriages.

Seriously, though, I did talk to a man who got married maybe in his 50's or so to a woman in her 40's. He asked her Korean pastor if she had any singles in her church she could set him up with. He told me she did, and that's how he met his wife. In some countries, an authority figure like a pastor may try to set people up and marry them off. American culture isn't that marriage oriented, and you are expected to feel a certain way first and take some time to get to know each other and all that. Some of the Asian cultures are more marriage oriented.

Have you gone to those lengths.... going overseas.

I've got a friend who'd been trying for probably 15 years to find a wife since his 20's. He's overweight and can be a bit socially awkward. He met a Filipina on a dating site and married her after a few months.

You could also go to rural East Africa, buy some goats or cattle, and start getting to know people in the villages.

When I was doing online dating, I would show my profile to some of my friends and ask them to review what I said and my pictures. I was looking for what I might me missing or if I should phrase things differently. Still did not work.

Its written He who finds a [true and faithful] wife finds a good thing And obtains favor and approval from the LORD. Now I can quote many verses about how Gods wants to give us the desire of our heart. If I truly wanted my Father (GODS) help I would tell Him what I want and I would quote what He said in His word to Him. Just 1 or 2 years ago I wanted to help my wife's faith but I think it was for me not her. So as we were driving I started to ask for something and for the 1st time in my life I stopped just as I started to ask and said to Him "you already knew what I was going to ask. You already set in motion the answer before I asked". Makes me cry today. It was so oh awesome wonderful. He answered that within 10min. And it involved real people that have free will that He cannot go against. It blew me away.

It was the "knowing". Is it not written if we know He hears us then we know we have the petitions we asked for. So me I would find what His word says on the matter take it to Him then know not wonder not doubt and asking knowing He has already started it. I would thank Him for hearing me and answering. I would never give it another thought and I would know that I know that I know what ever it was is here. I don't put Him on a time clock and I always ask according to His word. It always goes in line with His word. He always answers.. I have never heard Him say no. So if we delight out self in the lord He will give us the desires of our hearts. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:

Just put it in yours hands and lift it up to Him and give it to Him. Trust there is no one better to handle this. It take faith. We just don't work our faith do we. All you have to do is ask...know He answered... yes

I have done that, still nothing. I also read, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” James 5:16. I would ask friends in church who worked in the ministry to pray for me.....still nothing.

Then why not accept this as the will of God concerning you and glorify God in this estate?

Because I still hold on to the hope he will answer my request and I will be married one day.
So pray like Jesus...not my will but Thine be done and accept gladly whatever answer comes.

Jesus certainly did.

No, that isn't biblical. There is no third body which is spirit and no flesh.

There are TWO bodies, both are flesh. One is mortal flesh, one is immortal flesh.

Actually you are doing that. I only believe in two bodies, both flesh. You have come up with a spirit body of no flesh which is not something that exists.
Well… we agree that there is only two bodies..
1 Corinthians 15:44
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

And we agree the “natural” body is the regular flesh body we are in at the moment.

Look at the word spiritual
πνευματικός, ή, όν
Part of Speech: Adjective
Transliteration: pneumatikos
Phonetic Spelling: (pnyoo-mat-ik-os')
Definition: spiritual
Usage: spiritual

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance
spiritual.
From pneuma; non-carnal, i.e. (humanly) ethereal (as opposed to gross), or (daemoniacally) a spirit (concretely), or (divinely) supernatural, regenerate, religious -- spiritual.

The spiritual body is non-carnel
The word carnal is translated from
σάρξ, σαρκός, ἡ
Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
Transliteration: sarx
Phonetic Spelling: (sarx)
Definition: flesh
Usage: flesh, body, human nature, materiality; kindred.

The Bible clearly says the spiritual body is non-carnal (flesh)

As you can see I have not added anything.
Is the Greek and the Strongs in error?

For me they are the same.
You only think they are the same…
You are not smart enough to evaluate what you think your heart wants…
That’s why we were told…
Proverbs 28:26
26He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Psalm 37:4 says as we delight ourselves in the Lord, He gives us the desires of our hearts. Many believe erroneously that this means God gives us our present desires. This is not so. Instead, He places within our hearts good and holy desires befitting a child of God.

Praying for companionship is good and holy desires. It is not good for man to be alone

It has been GOD's path, I cannot deny that, but I hope it's not his choice.

Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you.
Rejoice in the wife of your youth.
She is a loving deer, a graceful doe.
Let her breasts satisfy you always.
May you always be captivated by her love.
