you know, dear one, the framers took a dismal view of democracy in general. they believed any system in which 51% of the people could enforce their will on the other 49% was not good.

that's why we're not a democracy (in general or otherwise lol), but a constitutional republic. :)

Yes God will make sure the right people get into office. But He's also made clear that those leaders will march towards the 'antichrist', not towards righteousness.

Umm I really don't listen to prophets, the vast majority are in the prosperity gospel crowd and I just disagree with most. One preacher, I believe he was from KY, said he believed God showed him that Trump would loose. That stuck with me, when everyone was saying the opposite.And sure enough he did not win. I wasn't overly shocked, in spite of Trumps large crowds that he lost. For some reason I felt that pastor was right and kept it to myself. I don't what he believes will happen this time round. but he was right last time round.
