No, that is ridiculous. The Greek interpretation in context to the Passover meal in Luke 22:15 is NOT Lusting to eat with you. But Jesus wanted to have fellowship with them but did not because of what was coming and What that Meal represented.

You miss the point. In the Greek the word for "lust' is neither good nor bad. It's about the strength of the desire. It's all about context.

This thread reminds me of the end of the Book of Judges and the book of 1Samuel.

Popular opinion became more important than what God had said...even to the High Priest Eli who was characterized by not restraining his sons.

King David suddenly finds himself committing adultery and he is trying to cover up this sin with murder - King David sinned and murdered an innocent man - but he repents - God judges David in this world because David repents and accepts his sin and will accept that
God will not allow his son conceived in adultery to live,
God will not allow David to build a temple,
God will not allow David to build a family from the many wives that he has married - but David has been judged, his son will die,

all of his wives will be taken from him - but the one thing that David did after all of this - he completely maintained his war, violence and extermination of the enemies of his family and people by continuing to fight in war and destroy the Ishmaelites and all of the enemies of his people.

This - David did before the Lord because this is literally all that he understood as a man.
