Is the only reason it's not his time because Trump is running? Is he unqualified? With his executive leadership experience, has he destroyed Florida in your opinion? In the context of giving into the threats from the left about covid, he championed being a tough non-career politician who will act independently from what his base calls "the deep state". As it pertains to covid, big pharma has made a killing because of the safeguards Trump removed to expedite the "experimental vaccine". Some would say this was a big plus by the way... but those people believe the vaccine actually works and want to credit Biden instead of Trump for some reason. His base thinks it's either a kill shot or unnecessarily killing young and old people.

There is no doubt that if Trump could redo everything all over again, he would not give in to the fear from the left. Unfortunately, we don't always get to have redos. I'm grateful that DeSantis has done what he has done without creating excuses.

Big difference between being a Gov. and a president, as DeSantis is learning now. I think there are a whole lot of factors that Trump had to consider that looking back he might change. And I don't think it's fair to Monday morning quarter back that we would have known different. The Dems got in and held the lockdown far longer than it should have been.

I'm going to come at this another way. The first time vote was Trump vs Biden and it may come around to the same thing again. I don't know where Trump stands with God, if Biden has any faith it doesn't come in to play in his politics. So we look at one vs the other. Biden is for abortion at any stage in pregnancy and now even a newborn, that's infanticide. If we think God will stand by and allow that to happen, He won't. Biden is for gay marriage all the way, light up the WH. Biden is for transgenders, supports bearing breasts on the WH lawn. Biden is for transgender surgery for under age children. Biden is for open borders that is allowing sex trafficking to flourish. One woman has testified on the hill that one underage child had evidence within them of 67 different partners, that is beyond criminal, my dog has better sense than that. So maybe you can understand why I don't have a lot of tolerance for picking apart Trump when Biden supports all this. If these two run again, I don't know how a Christian can sit back and allow Biden to get into office again.

But if you are going to tell the world of your whoredom (which he has publicly admitted in interviews of), I would prefer he be repentant if he claims to be a Christian. For many, it's a reasonable disqualifier.

I don't know what he claims or what his understanding is. Many people think if I'm a basically good person, I don't kill anyone, I don't hurt anyone, I do good works I'm on my way to heaven. I have a family member that was a new Christian and said to me "but they are a good person", I had to explain that it's not about good works it's about the cross and accepting Jesus as Savior. So I don't know his understanding. Biden hasn't either repented, so again, it's a matter of understanding.

The point is that he was bros with Epstein for 15+ years and doesn't get credit for identifying an alligator. This might sound like a funny comparison... I would compare Biden to a prostitute, Trump to a promiscuous woman, and DeSantis to a Proverbs 31 woman. If we were trying to select the right partner, a prostitute or a promiscuous woman wouldn't or shouldn't take the top of the list for single Christian men. It might be enticing... A Proverbs 31 woman would clearly be a better fit for any Christian man though.

Yes, the more the left attacks Trump, the more Trump gains support. There is a psychological reasoning for this though. People can vote (especially in a poll) emotionally. People could prefer DeSantis and also like Trump. When they see someone who they do like, maybe not as much as DeSantis, get treated unfairly, humans have a tendency to cheer the underdog. In fact, Trumps 2016 victory is entirely all about him being the underdog and prevailing. I have never been a big Trump supporter, but even I cheered when he beat Clinton in 2016. I will cheer him on the indictments as well as I don't think they are justified. But I'm not going to vote emotionally... I want to vote pragmatically and for the best candidate.
