Yes! Baptism, water immersion, into Christ is the one baptism!
False. There is only one baptism that places us into the body of Christ and that is Spirit baptism, not water baptism.

Ephesians 4:5 - one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

1 Corinthians 12:13 - For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. *Also see John 4:10,14; 7:37 for the word drink(s).

Thank you brother-

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

English Standard Version

3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

But your neighbour [scenario] was stood right next to you and he did not "grab" Jesus

You must be a better person, smarter, more righteous.
Typical fatalist view.

How was I smarter or a better person or more righteous?

God said there are non righteous, no not one.

The book says the law confined all under sin. in fact, As James said, if I just stumble once yet keep the law completely my whole life. I am guilty of the whole law (ie..I am just as guilty as hitler!)

As for as smarter goes. No. We both know we are guilty (see Romans 1) we both know there is a God (again see Romans 1) and we both know that our sin causes us to be worthy of judgment (again see Romans 1)

The difference was because of his love for sin, he did not want to come to the light, lest his sin be exposed. He refused to see how bankrupt in spirit he is. and he wanted nothing to do with God.. He liked being his own God. Where the other person because like the tax collector.. and called out to God to save him, because he was shown his sinfulness, His judgment and his his lack of righteousness.

This is why Christians pass by the beggar in the doorway thinking "They shoulda have done what I did when they had the chance, they shoulda "grabbed Christ" they have made their bed and now they must lie in it"
What kind of christians think that? Have you seen this, or is this what you are taught. I know no true believer who thinks this

Unbelievers perceive that Christians think themselves better than themselves.
Thats because of religious people who think they are bettter. but they think it because they are usually on a performance based gospel. and they have to hide their sins so they do nto have to admit they are guilty.

Its not because of true believers, who would love them and do whatever they could to help them come to faith also.

Yet you twist and distort the truth of Gods word to your own demise..

running from people will not help you
Be specific
False. There is only one baptism that places us into the body of Christ and that is Spirit baptism, not water baptism.

Ephesians 4:5 - one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

False. Yes, you are. You are disagreeing with the clear, straightforward words of the bible not me. Yes, there is only one baptism that places us in the body of Christ, and it's clear which one it is: immersion in water as was initiated by John the Baptist and which is carried forward as the norm throughout NT scripture unless otherwise stated.

And 1 Cor 12:13 on which we've exchanged comments before, is really "in one Spirit" not by one Spirit" when you look at the original Greek.

Acts 2:38-47 clearly tells you how and why WATER baptism is required: for the remission of sins, to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and to be added to the body of Christ by the Lord himself. These words of scripture can't be twisted or manipulated no matter how hard one may try. If Acts 2:38 tells you the point at which you receive the indwelling of the Holy Ghost, which it does, how is it that the Holy Ghost is baptizing you somehow by some unknown other process according to your logic, and obvious misunderstanding and misspplication of 1 Cor 12:13? It's also easy to see, by even a casual reading of Romans 6, that only water baptism can accomplish the simulation of Christ's burial and resurrectionas discussed therein.

I don't twist or distort anything nor run from anyone, ESPECIALLY, those that preach falsehood as you do, who unknowingly pit scripture against scripture in a feeble attempt to justify their flawed beliefs and understanding of the word of God, which is why I chose not to respond to your previous comments which made no sense. Once again, goodbye 👋

"for as the body without the Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead"!
If abraham was found by works, he has somethign to boast about.

But not before God

its true, faith without works is dead.

But works will never save you. Adding works to salvation is adding self.. I pray your not boasting of saving yourself by your deeds

Your running

You pit scripture against scripture

You have God in your system tell many they do not have to be baptised in water. while telling others they do.

Your God is a God of confusion. Not mine

Now you're making stuff up. I have NEVER told anyone they don't have to get baptized in water and never will. It's not what the scriptures say nor do I who simply quote them, nor have I ever pitted scripture against scripturead you do which is a stupid thing to do demonstrating a lack of scriptural understanding. Suggest you go study and quit blabbering.

As I said, you pit scripture against scripture and this proves it. You can't take only one scripture that says one thing and ignor others that say something additive to it! You must look at all relative scriptures and combine the requirements of them all, not just assume one says all there is to say on any given subject, DUDE! You've just again confirmed your ignorance.

Practice what you preach. Jesus told many people that if they believe in him, they will have eternal life. not one mention of baptism..

Your three pet verses must agree with what Jesus said.. They do not usiing your interpretation.

they do using my interpretation of those three passages.

Its on you my friend. Not me.

Your pride is showing.. Your acting more like a pharisee than a true believer.

Zero biblical support for infant baptism, actually, less than zero. And even less than that for sprinkling or pouring water on infants and calling that baptism!
But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:16).
“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.” (Mark 9:37)
See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 18:10).
