it still did not save you. You were either saved before you were water baptized. or you got wet for nothing.
How can you be saved while yet being in sin? You can't! It's impossible, according to scripture, to be saved prior to being baptized.

Acts 2:38

38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:38-47 tells you how one is saved by remission of sins verse 38. Verse 41 of Acts 2 says they that gladly received his (Peter's) word were baptize, and about 3000 souls were added. Verse 47 of Acts 2 tells you that the Lord adds you to the church.

So, that's the principle for conversion and being added to the body of Christ which is his church.

Acts 22:16

16And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Mark 16:15-16

15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Belief + baptism = salvation

That's exactly why you see baptisms in the bible done immediately. I made my decision late one night, called the preacher, the church building was opened, and I was baptized.
Picking up a phone and calling a preacher takes work and time. What if you dropped dead before you got baptized; would you be in heaven or hell?

Simple answer. Did I complete the command of God? Did I do my part? Does God bend his rules? Is his word true and everlasting? How can one rely on God's word if it changes? By redundancy, I've answered your question. I'd be LOST!

Proverbs 14:12

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

That's a wide range. Could you be more specific?
well from my point of view. there are few Arminians and few Calvins, even in here..

My point is if we start to discuss from the perspective of Calvin vs arminian, we lose sight of who we are talking to and argue based on assumptions. Which may not be true.

God's grace is either given or not. It doesn't require acceptance. God causes the sun to shine
on the just and unjust. We don't accept the sunshine or not. It just is or is not extended.
Some prefer the shade. Just sayin'...

This is wrong. It is blood that washes your sin away. Not water.

Your continued misrepresentation of these passages does not support you.

He who believes is not condemned, He who does not believe is condemned already

the fact you can not show baptism in John 3 is the nail in your coffin

That's certainly not my perspective. We could never nullify what God has done. It's the subtle but important
difference between "acceptance" and "acknowledgement." Arminianism puts the cart before the horse.
Hello Night Twister. I am neither Arminian, nor Calvinist. I see you joined in July, so you are relatively new
unless you have been here before, and I obviously was not speaking of your views. Any ways, some go so far
as to say a person is saved even when they do not believe or have faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ.

where am I going wrong?
Good already knows who will believe because the Holy Spirit enables them to do so.

You're one or the other, whether you call yourself that or not.

They would be wrong. Believers believe.

From my perspective, you're one or the other whether you call yourself that or not. That's my perspective. You don't have to agree, of course.

it still did not save you. You were either saved before you were water baptized. or you got wet for nothing.
You are simply fighting scripture.

There is no salvation without the remission of sins. Our contact with the shed blood of Christ is not metaphysical. It is through water baptism that we are no longer seen as guilty of our sins.

Not some metaphysical moment that you accepted/trusted Jesus in your heart.

Acts 2:38
Peter answered them, “All of you must turn to God and change the way you think and act, and each of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins will be forgiven. Then you will receive the Holy Spirit as a gift.

Acts 22;16
And now why tarry thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

1 Peter 3:21
and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
