That's a wide range. Could you be more specific? What about the non calvin/Arminian perspective? where do they fit?

it still did not save you. You were either saved before you were water baptized. or you got wet for nothing.
Picking up a phone and calling a preacher takes work and time. What if you dropped dead before you got baptized; would you be in heaven or hell? That's exactly why you see baptisms in the bible done immediately. I made my decision late one night, called the preacher, the church building was opened, and I was baptized.
Simple answer. Did I complete the command of God? Did I do my part? Does God bend his rules? Is his word true and everlasting? How can one rely on God's word if it changes? By redundancy, I've answered your question. I'd be LOST!Picking up a phone and calling a preacher takes work and time. What if you dropped dead before you got baptized; would you be in heaven or hell?
well if he only died for some, and only they will believe after he works on them so that they will believe no matter what.. its prety much the same thing is it not?I never said that He would.
well from my point of view. there are few Arminians and few Calvins, even in here..That's a wide range. Could you be more specific?
Some prefer the shade. Just sayin'...God's grace is either given or not. It doesn't require acceptance. God causes the sun to shine
on the just and unjust. We don't accept the sunshine or not. It just is or is not extended.
Your continued misrepresentation of these passages does not support you.How can you be saved while yet being in sin? You can't! It's impossible, according to scripture, to be saved prior to being baptized.
This is wrong. It is blood that washes your sin away. Not water.

Acts 2:38
38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38-47 tells you how one is saved by remission of sins verse 38. Verse 41 of Acts 2 says they that gladly received his (Peter's) word were baptize, and about 3000 souls were added. Verse 47 of Acts 2 tells you that the Lord adds you to the church.
So, that's the principle for conversion and being added to the body of Christ which is his church.
Acts 22:16
16And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Mark 16:15-16
15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Belief + baptism = salvation
what if he died on the way to the church..Picking up a phone and calling a preacher takes work and time. What if you dropped dead before you got baptized; would you be in heaven or hell?
Hello Night Twister. I am neither Arminian, nor Calvinist. I see you joined in July, so you are relatively newThat's certainly not my perspective. We could never nullify what God has done. It's the subtle but important
difference between "acceptance" and "acknowledgement." Arminianism puts the cart before the horse.
Shade grace is the reason God made trees. Some prefer the shade. Just sayin'...
You must have either hit ctrl S or you selected the S with a crossthrough from the icons above.I dunno why it started to cross through the last part. lol
Good already knows who will believe because the Holy Spirit enables them to do so.well if he only died for some, and only they will believe after he works on them so that they will believe no matter what.. its prety much the same thing is it not?
where am I going wrong?
You're one or the other, whether you call yourself that or not.well from my point of view. there are few Arminians and few Calvins, even in here..
My point is if we start to discuss from the perspective of Calvin vs arminian, we lose sight of who we are talking to and argue based on assumptions. Which may not be true.
They would be wrong. Believers believe.Hello Night Twister. I am neither Arminian, nor Calvinist. I see you joined in July, so you are relatively new
unless you have been here before, and I obviously was not speaking of your views. Any ways, some go so far
as to say a person is saved even when they do not believe or have faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ.
The Bible mentions neither. You're one or the other, whether you call yourself that or not.
It's simply a term to define something. It's how languages work. The Bible mentions neither.
It comes from a manmade label machine.
You are simply fighting scripture.it still did not save you. You were either saved before you were water baptized. or you got wet for nothing.
The sun still shines in the shade, though indirectly. Some prefer the shade. Just sayin'...
So the HS withholds the gospel from others?Good already knows who will believe because the Holy Spirit enables them to do so.
