"proof-texting"?
Or do you really mean Proving my Position with the text used in 1cor chapters 12 through 14? Contextually.
I am not trying to make others agree with me; I just provide the text that supports my understanding.
You are able to do the same YET, but you have not provided one verse that states the gifts of the holy Spirit are not for today and no longer needed because of the canonization of scripture.
Still waiting![]()
I'm sorry that is not correct. Please give me the post when I say this. Dishonesty doesn't help the discussion . I will address what you have posted here
1. "Also, nowhere in the bible does it describe baptism nor its reason as you have. It is an outward expression of nothing, but rather a command that must be obeyed in order to secure our salvation."
Don't know where you get this but it not correct .
Look if you want to have an IQ test with monkeys and baboons go to the zoo, whilst your there see if you can communicate with them, you may even find they are loving creatures,No, just saying at least the baboon is known for being one of the highest intelligent species.
it's actually almost a compliment if one is smarter than you because they are smarter than a lot of average iq's.
you always do find a petty argument to elaborate and expand on don't youThe difference between you and me is you is you think anyone actually cares about whether you have scriptures to support your position or not. I learned a long time ago, in this environment people are way too busy formulating their own arguments and proof-texts to care about anyone else's arguments. I don't know who you think you're talking to by spending a lot of time crafting the perfect post. Believe me, most people simply don't care.

that's interesting. There is no post 39 it goes 38- to 40. let me ask Admin what up maybe someone who has it put me on ingore I can't see itPost #39. Your post.
Denial of fact also doesn't help.
it matters to me and my post. God is fully aware of HIS word and able to keep it. Everyone comes here for many reasons asa Mod in the past I have seen many different reasons. Yet you don't know how many contact me in PM and ask questions. You make assumptions about those here but you are really not connected enough to know or make a difference.
Thank you for saying my post are perfect I appreciate the comment. I would disagree they are but I will work harder to be better for you. I love your non-caring position. You have a very odd way of showing it # post 243

I've been involved in Spiritual Warfare.
a spirit, inside a human, is causing the human to do stupid harmful things to themselves.
a spirit, is physically controlling the human mind and body.
Now, if we could allow ourselves to be controlled by God like that, i could move a literal physical mountain!
not just what has been done.

Peter says baptism saved us. 1 Peter 3:21, so, you're not correct. Also, nowhere in the bible does it describe baptism nor its reason as you have. It is an outward expression of nothing, but rather a command that must be obeyed in order to secure our salvation. The Ethiopian eunuch was with Philip in the middle of nowhere when he was baptized and in the audience of no one other than Philip. Furthermore, Philip's preaching of the gospel to him obviously included the need for baptism, hence the eunuch's question to him regarding water and baptism. Baptism us not a work of anything or any law.
i realize you're just trying to get me banned, cs1.
But God knows who you are fighting for in this battle!
You will PAY, Touch Not My Anointed!
I now see that it wasn't you that posted that.
I don't know where I got that so confused and I deeply apologize for my mix-up.
I do hope you understand that I was arguing over what was said and it was nothing personal to you.
I now see that it wasn't you that posted that. It was DJT_47.
I don't know where I got that so confused with thinking you posted it and I deeply apologize for my mix-up.
I do hope you understand that I was arguing over what was said and it was nothing personal to you or DJT_47.
Again, I am so sorry.
I did say if we could submit to that point of Control, not that we are.God does not control people. One of the functions of the Holy Spirit is to guide those in Christ. That, is biblical.
You know, the war has already been done. We don't have to wrestle with the devil and have a war. How did Jesus overcome the
devil in the wilderness. By speaking TRUTH. I find that always works.
For saying it to you, yes, I was.Ok, you were wrong in your point about saying to me "Denial of fact also doesn't help. "
Thank you
Who are you?Actually, you are doing a bang up job on getting banned yourself.
I've had you on ignore for a long time, but due to all the missing posts I clicked the 'show ignored content'. That was you.
This touch not etc is utter nonsense. False teachers love to use that verse to put the 'scare' into people. It's not yours to use. Just another wanna be so called prophet who has taken personal offense and lost sight of who the real enemy is.
Jesus put up with far more and did not curse anyone or threaten them. No one here has issued from a brood of vipers. smh
