I could probably train a monkey to copy and paste proof-texts in support of a position.

Some people really have tested patience enough around here,

This is ridiculous.

what, using examples of the Bible, to show if we today are living for God the same way they did in the Bible, today's Christian, should be getting the same outcome from God?

i did a quick search from Genesis to Revelation and one thing was very constant, whether in Captivity, Free, or in Israel established as a Nation, Followers of God, were privy to SEE God do great things. From personal Miracles, to miracles so big 5,000+ witnessed it.

That tells me, a True Follower of God, should be seeing and Witnessing Miracles.

if they are not seeing and witnessing them, the examples seem conclusive, that you aren't part of God if you aren't seeing them.
remember Jesus said a perverted generation seeks a sign but none will be given to you however, we are o the group of " these signs shall follow them that believe Mark 16:17-18

these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

What's the point of baptism if you can't hope that God will save You

The whole point of baptism is hope.

The whole point of baptism is for Goodness like prayer.

Less we not forget.
I think you may have baptism confused with the Jesus' sacrifice.

well, please do so, because in this setting you have not been able to prove a biblical position you hold.

I think you do, and you don't understand the very question asked in this Thread.

LOL, neither have you; even with all your laborious posting of proof-texts. Don't you think if you really had proven anything people would have seen the light by now and come around to your way of thinking?

I rip on posts based upon my memory of a bunch of posts the same poster has made before to show I have proof of what I say.

That is called debating. While debating I'm not your friend nor ever will be if you present false doctrine.

The answer to that question is no. One can not have the Holy Spirit in them if they are not saved. The phrase "Baptism in the Holy Spirit " means to have The HS in you and upon you, as Jesus said in John chapters 14, 15, and 16.

This is not about water baptism. This is a question about the Spiritual clothing of the believer by the Holy Spirit.

"proof-texting"?

Or do you really mean Proving my Position with the text used in 1cor chapters 12 through 14? Contextually.

I am not trying to make others agree with me; I just provide the text that supports my understanding.

You are able to do the same YET, but you have not provided one verse that states the gifts of the holy Spirit are not for today and no longer needed because of the canonization of scripture.

Still waiting :)

You typed this:
"Peter says baptism saved us. 1 Peter 3:21, so, you're not correct. Also, nowhere in the bible does it describe baptism nor its reason as you have. It is an outward expression of nothing, but rather a command that must be obeyed in order to secure our salvation."

If you were not referring to water baptism, then I apologize for my misunderstanding.

I'm sorry that is not correct. Please give me the post when I say this. Dishonesty doesn't help the discussion . I will address what you have posted here

1. "Also, nowhere in the bible does it describe baptism nor its reason as you have. It is an outward expression of nothing, but rather a command that must be obeyed in order to secure our salvation."

Don't know where you get this but it not correct .

are you making friends with CS1 now so you can insult people further,
No, just saying at least the baboon is known for being one of the highest intelligent species.
it's actually almost a compliment if one is smarter than you because they are smarter than a lot of average iq's.
