What is your source for more than seven days? I never heard of an eight day until you conjured it up.
for the first several hundred years after Christ's appearing, the church commonly met on the day He rose, early in the morning, the day after sabbath - and called it 'the 8th day' with much significance, the gospel being as it were, a new day, a new thing.

'the 8th day' is a term found in many writings of the early church fathers, a worthwhile study.

My reference is the meaing of the root word of Jew Judah, and what it means, not a denomination called Jewish, of which there are several.

I would think this thinking of the first to add to the Word, just as it became required to call believers Christian after the renaming of those in Yeshua were named for the Greek version of Messiah which does not include the name of God, Yah.

“Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:” Colossians‬ ‭3:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬ ... “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God
rule in your hearts,
to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of
Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another
in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians‬ ‭3:12-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Colossians 3:12-14
Thank you as always for the inspiration .:D

There are opinions and beliefs all over the place going in every direction. Has anyone heard of Christ as King of the Church? or Christ as King of the Jews? or Christ as King of the Israelites? or King of the Commonwealth of Israel? When in the OT did "Jews" first appear. No where in the Torah are their any Jews, that word is not mentioned until 2 King 16:6 after the split and there became Two Houses (House of Judah and House of Israel). The Torah (first five books) introduces to us, the Israelites, children of Israel, and when they exited Egypt many foreigners and aliens also blended into the Israelites and God had one law for all. It will be the same in the new millennium. One law for all.

So the OP is presenting something very biblical and sound scripture and that is the 7th day Sabbath is for Covenant Keepers. All else are Covenant Breakers. And both camps will be in the 7th millennium so that the Covenant Breakers will have a chance to choose to become Covenant Keepers and those Torah laws will be applied for everyone in the 7th millennium. Beware though, God/YHWH has a sense of humor. Those who say they are not Jews could very well be placed under the banner of Judah.

And as always it mutual sister !!! You are appreciated !!
Thank you, Pilgrimshope .:). How is your sister doing? I have been praying for you as well...
that this ordeal and loss will serve to strengthen your faith in and love for God. Life is a gift.
I just received news recently that a woman I have known for quite a few years was recently
diagnosed with inoperable stage four pancreatic cancer. She will undergo chemo to extend
her life by some months, but death within a year is the prognosis. She says she is ready to
face it, and has made as many preparations as possible. She is only 65. Life is a gift and so
unpredictable are our life's circumstances. Finding peace in them is a treasure you possess.

thank you so much for the prayers sister they are needed and very much appreciated.

My sister isn’t doing well she decided three days ago to forego any further treatments because nothing was helping just making her sick . Our prayers have turned much more to comfort and peace and his presence with her as she goes through this final struggle in this world .

Ashe is going to get to go home for her final days and this is really all she wants now to be out of the hospital and at home where she spent her life with her husband and raised thier kids

i was trying to talk her into trying more treatment but at once I realized that’s not what she wants she’s come to a point of acceptance and is ready to be with Jesus.

It really hurts to say goodbye to someone who’s literally been there since you were one year old. But in the big picture I remember a wise man who once questioned the lord why things like this happen in this world ehy really good people sometimes get dealt really bad hands why the righteous are taken and the wicked continue on and prosper

and my Hope turned towards the answer he received . in the end she is just going home to daddy where all the others before her went and where God willing I will also arrive someday not too far away

life is truly a gift from God sister amen , it’s death that doesn’t belong it’s death that makes us hurt so much in our hearts and it’s death that isnt a gift from God but a curse of sin

my sister is not doing well physically but she is really strong spiritually and so my heart is here

“Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:6, 8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I believe my dear sister is getting ready to part her condemned temporary rental home in this world and move into her permanent mansion

I just know I won’t be able to visit for awhile and it hurts

Romans 3
Good News Translation
1Do the Jews then have any advantage over the Gentiles? Or is there any value in being circumcised? 2Much, indeed, in every way! In the first place, God trusted his message to the Jews. 3But what if some of them were not faithful? Does this mean that God will not be faithful? 4 Certainly not! God must be true, even though all human beings are liars. As the scripture says,
“You must be shown to be right when you speak;
you must win your case when you are being tried.”
5But what if our doing wrong serves to show up more clearly God's doing right? Can we say that God does wrong when he punishes us? (This would be the natural question to ask.) 6By no means! If God is not just, how can he judge the world?
7But what if my untruth serves God's glory by making his truth stand out more clearly? Why should I still be condemned as a sinner? 8Why not say, then, “Let us do evil so that good may come”? Some people, indeed, have insulted me by accusing me of saying this very thing! They will be condemned, as they should be.
No One Is Righteous
9Well then, are we Jews in any better condition than the Gentiles? Not at all!+ I have already shown that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. 10 As the Scriptures say:
“There is no one who is righteous,
11no one who is wise
or who worships God.
12All have turned away from God;
they have all gone wrong;
no one does what is right, not even one.
13 Their words are full of deadly deceit;
wicked lies roll off their tongues,
and dangerous threats, like snake's poison, from their lips;
14 their speech is filled with bitter curses.
15 They are quick to hurt and kill;
16they leave ruin and destruction wherever they go.
17They have not known the path of peace,
18 nor have they learned reverence for God.”
19Now we know that everything in the Law applies to those who live under the Law, in order to stop all human excuses and bring the whole world under God's judgment. 20 For no one is put right in God's sight by doing what the Law requires; what the Law does is to make us know that we have sinned.
How We Are Put Right with God
21But now God's way of putting people right with himself has been revealed. It has nothing to do with law, even though the Law of Moses and the prophets gave their witness to it. 22 God puts people right through their faith in Jesus Christ. God does this to all who believe in Christ, because there is no difference at all: 23everyone has sinned and is far away from God's saving presence. 24But by the free gift of God's grace all are put right with him through Christ Jesus, who sets them free. 25-26God offered him, so that by his blood+ he should become the means by which people's sins are forgiven through their faith in him. God did this in order to demonstrate that he is righteous. In the past he was patient and overlooked people's sins; but in the present time he deals with their sins, in order to demonstrate his righteousness. In this way God shows that he himself is righteous and that he puts right everyone who believes in Jesus.
27What, then, can we boast about? Nothing! And what is the reason for this? Is it that we obey the Law? No, but that we believe. 28For we conclude that a person is put right with God only through faith, and not by doing what the Law commands. 29Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is he not the God of the Gentiles also? Of course he is. 30 God is one, and he will put the Jews right with himself on the basis of their faith, and will put the Gentiles right through their faith. 31Does this mean that by this faith we do away with the Law? No, not at all; instead, we uphold the Law.

Totally irrelevant to this subject. The Sabbath was a sign between ISRAEL and God. Not between the Church and God. Christ is the Head of the Church, which is His Body. And the Church has been shown that Sabbaths are merely shadows. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the Body is of Christ. (Col 2:16,17) The reality is Christ and His Body, and the true eternal Sabbath is in Christ.

Your Bing search has led you astray, to the exact opposite conclusion that Jusus intended. He was explaining that the Sabbath is intended as a blessing. By implying that it is “law”, you make it something to be enforced rather than enjoyed.
