I am scoffing at your ridiculous notion about receiving a thorn in the side. Which you know since are a prophet

Here is an interesting little ditty sung to the tune of Ole MacDonald had a Farm

Chorus: (sung to the tune of Ole MacDonald had a Farm)
A trolling I will go
A trolling I will go
False statements and nonsense
A trolling I will go

Someone tried to be a prophet
(oh no oh no oh no)
And in his posts he made great boasts
(oh no oh no oh no)
With a big boast here and big boast there
Everywhere boasting jesting and joking
Someone tried to be a prophet
(oh no oh no oh no) repeat chorus
do you feel better now. 😊

I guess you must be the latest friend to turn against me thankyou

Do you people like burning bridges ? Because it sure feels that way.

How mature a person is depends upon how mature there parents where.

So actually despite are age difference you could be a young fool at heart and I could be an old fool wise beyond my years.

And there are no more prophets because the holy spirit can speak through all Christians

But I guess you forgot about that.

Having an argument about there are no more prophets is very ridiculous base for an argument.

Because your arguing for something that doesn't exist.

So I think this is a fools game.

What do you think young fool ?
“I guess you must be the latest friend to turn against me thankyou”

lol no I’m not against you I had a perception after reading through the threads that you seem pretty immature and always are a victim anytime someone says basically anything to you

im a fool admittedly but I wish that I could say I’m young just entered seventies so I’m not a young fool , I’m an old fool

ueah I’d rather be real with you in the hopes you might try to observe your own behavior and change it rather than trying to be careful with your emotions Christian’s need to learn that offense is something we take it isn’t always something someone else is giving

you seem to me to be a believer in Jesus and not a false prophet , was the main point I just don’t think you quite understand everything you appear to be convinced you understand and you seem to have a high mind and look down on others when you interact with them

there’s no harm in considering and reflecting maybe an old fool still can notice some things that could be useful if we aren’t too busy whining and crying that everyone’s always mean to us

lol the last part I was just poking fun no offense

“The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. Luke 12:47
A look at the previous verse shows that this "servant" will be treated as an unbeliever. A portion of this parable indicates that there are degrees of punishment in Hell. It has nothing to do with Heaven.

No, this is about the coming of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and he will come indeed. The faithless servants do not believe the master will come back, therefore do they beat upon the faithful servants and work evil. But one day the master will come back and he will cut the evil servants to pieces and throw them into the Lake of Fire. Those that were foolish and did not regard that the Lord would return and were neglectfully evil even though they knew better will be beaten with severe blows. And the ignorant fools who though they worked evil were obviously worked it more out of ignorance, with less blows. Blessed are the faithful servants that when the master returns he will see they kept the faith. None of it will happen to them in heaven, it will all be done right here on Earth, at least towards the end of it and then the hereafter.

let's put you post of compassion into perspective.

Pilgrims hope calls me a fool which I take as banter.

In my next post I say with sence of honour I may be an old fool wise beyond my years and you might be a young fool.

And you choose to see pilgrims hope needing compassion for that ?

Are you appealing to his feelings to seek approval or what ?

Pilgrimshope in other threads as called himself an old fool where I told him he was no fool there.

I even held him in high regards, and in other posts, but yet he has chosen to see my wisdom as foolish even tho I keep saying it's the lord's wisdom and then he's choosing to see my manner as high an almighty,

He has also chosen to call a Christian a false prophet when prophets do not exist anymore.

He has also chosen to forget that the higher authority is Jesus in me, not me acting high and almighty.

But When you rewind the tape you see escalation after escalation that I never encouraged, and you see that so many here are carrying scars and dwelling in the past. instead of seeking the lord for guidance, there all running to people looking for answers of people, who will not even answer an honest question or even see any truth in what people are saying, you have all so refused to answer any truthful question of me from over 10 posts to me you have shown me nothing but ignorance because your to busy seeking approval of people rather than God

Certainly, you are no fool
well I meant that from my own perspective , I’ve been proven a fool a lot of times in seven decades of livin

it was proven in the first decade in the holler where I was born and lived some years

, in the military where I spent a few years of my second going into third decade

was proven with a drinkin issue I started up and carried over a long fifteen years after that I can’t name the amount of foolish things I did during them years brother / sister

i eventually started learning because I was a fool and finally broke and acknowledged it , but I’m definetely no fool to believe in Jesus none of us are who believe in him whether we know alot or a little if we believe it we are following a wise path and should know it

I think it took me being a fool
And realizing it myself before my pride would allow Jesus to teach me anything

Im just glad I met and recognized the wise man to hear and believe in and follow after even though I’ve been proven a fool many times that decision to trust Jesus isn’t foolishness

“For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise;

and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:26-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The turning point in my life was about 32-33 years old when I realized I was a fool but God works with those folks that realize how very little they understand there is alot of wisdom on the Bible , I seem to have a gift to remember alot of what I’ve read over seventy years of livin

But also knowing it and then the many transgressions and mistakes I’ve made in those seventy years makes it hard to. Ot see what a fool I’ve always been

But The beauty is Jesus already knows I’ve been proven a fool and he never rejected me for those foolish things I did in life

He disciplined and reprimanded and taught and exhorted and expected things of me but he never left me alone to my own demise or in my own inability to overcome in the long run even at my worst Jesus never said “ forget this guy he’s irredeemable “
Certainly, you are no fool

shouldn't you know not to judge your brother ?.
yeah I’m not judging anyone , but some folks insuppose would take it as judgement when another person is honest and doesn’t really think it helps to not say the truth because someone could possible feel “ judged “

everyone has only one judge for the record Jesus in whom we believe , he’s going to judge me , you and them without anyone being in between we don’t need a mediator so I’m in no way judging anyone

I’m being honest about an observation so another person might consider it. That’s the extent of it this is just a discussion forum not a court

For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things
will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. Isaiah 65:17

That didn't answer the question.
Magenta has a way of answering without specific directiveness. she points to a verse sometimes. it reminds me of Jesus answering so often with a question.

There is also:
“Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’

“Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’

“And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’ Matt 25:42
Yes, that's right JohnB. I am sure that you and I are both hoping to be among those who did help those who needed help. I really like the verse where it talks about the King saying that as much as the servant did good to the least of these he did it unto the king.

this is no apology just another abusive sarcastic comment with no intent of sincerity what so ever.

You know fine well you've offended me and you couldn't care less for my feelings, which makes you a person who is not willing to share in your brother's suffering and you are quite freely trying to hurt me further, with total disregard for my feelings.

Which is totally goes against what Jesus tells you to do when a brother tells you your hurting there feelings

So I don't think you care for the true word of God

What you've done is what other people do here which is jumping on the bandwagon to attack people. Only intent on attacking people.

You've Even witnessed me being attacked befor you have decided to attacked me further which is the behaviour of bully and sombody who could care less for there brother only themselves

Your twisted to apologize the way you have

And I really not in least bit hurt by your comments no more you've proved your not my brother or my friend.

The reason why I was hurt was because I thought you where my friend.

And you will say I'm only correcting you or I am only basing my observation based on how other bullies being my friend one minute only to attack me next have responded to me.

So you can shove your apology where the sun doesn't shine you Hypocrite
