Lot & his wife and the two daughters that were still in their household seem to me to be particularly significant to the OP topic,
because even though they both hesitated, and even though Lot was contrary to the angels every step of the way, divine hands reached out and grabbed all four of them and took them supernaturally out of the city -- even Lot's wife was not destroyed with the city but turned into a monument to be remembered until the last day, preserved in a pillar of salt.

they are, all four of them, a picture of salvation: protected by the messengers of God, removed from the coming destruction, preserved as a testimony: and this was not because of their individual actions or obediences but because of the Lord's mercy
couldn't agree more 😊

All believers will be judged according to their labor whether it be good or bad. I would agree, the Lord desires us to go onto good works, but many walk after the flesh and not the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

I didn't get your position on the baptism of fire on Sodom and Gomorrah putting an end to death in that place and whether there is any comparison in the baptism of fire🔥 putting an end to death in the believer of Christ.

Hmm "The steps of a man are ordered by the lord" and delight in the lord He will give you the desire of your heart, Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Were not slaves nor are we puppets :) I see the direction as keeping us on the right/safe path since we are in a fallen world. What oh makes Him the best is...you can talk and even debate with Him and He listens. You can say.. I want to go this way.. He will say sure maybe but.. you can still say I would like to go this way and He will say ok. As He told one "If you do this it will be very hard" . A choice the man didn't have to make yet the lord was still guiding his path. So much more to "our steps being ordered"

Steps I understand but.. in your post fruits was said what 8 times. Yet you talked about knowing you are always saved. I don't see that in your post at all. Salvation is not something I question. Always saved or can lose is not something anyone can prove in scripture. Not something I care to just speculate.

I really genuinely have no idea what your talking about or our brother @posthuman. Or our brother @oyster67 I'm trying my best but it just won't compute sorry. I really am confused by your statement along with posthuman saying things I'm supposedly believing.

Please be more specific on what you are confused about, dear friend.

Psalm 37:23, "the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord & he delighteth in his way". Phillipians 2:13, "for it is God which worketh in you both to will & to do of His good pleasure"!
Actually the steps of all men are ordered by the Lord Jer 10:23

O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Prov 16:9

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

I already have friend I don't get why anyone would not see the baptism of fire on sodom and Gomorrah putting an end to death in that place to be the same as baptism of fire from the holy spirit putting an end to death in the believers of Christ.

The fire upon Sodom was punishment. It had nothing to do with salvation or the Holy Ghost.

That was her body that was struck dead, not her spirit.

Then of course you have the Noah's Flood where probably millions if not billions of people where struck Dead, are we going to say all their spirits were struck dead when they never had experienced being born again.
Physical events of the Old Testament often teach us spiritual truths and lessons (but can obviously be misinterpreted.)

Matthew 7:
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Luke 17:32 “Remember Lot's wife.”

If she was afraid of evil why would she be turning back to the evil city?
her actions show she wasn't afraid of evil. she turned back towards certain death, knowing the city was going to be destroyed and the people there would murder her on sight.

she didn't seek to preserve her life.
And God preserved her, in a pillar of salt.
Better to say, "she did not eschew evil."

I have remembered lots wife and your last post refers to me associating lots wife to salvation when this is exactly what your implying here.

Your post here is also making reference to a scripture to the narrow gate being the same as the valley path through the mountains of Sodom and gamora,

Theres a huge difference
1 we enter the narrow gate (the valley because Jesus allows us to then he directs are steps knowing we can fall he picks us up again.

2 the narrow valley through the valleys of Sodom and gamora was being used by an angle of the lord to sweep them away from Sodom and gamora.

3 the instruction was to keep moving forward, because the angel of death was all around.

That was there in instruction.

The same instruction could also be found in another when the lord told his children to lambs blood on there doorstep so angel of death would not kill them.

But if they forgot the angel of death would. (Nothing to do with losing salvation).

Same as lots wife nothing to with losing salvation.

Because when you enter through the narrow gate the difference is you have Jesus in your heart the spirit which can not be taken by the spirit of death.

Galatians 2.2 it is no longer I who live but Jesus who lives in me

Yes, the Judgment Seat of Christ is where believers will be judged according to their labor. Rewards are at stake. The Great White Throne Judgment is for all others. Eternity is at stake.
