Faith is the result and effect of Grace, the Grace of regeneration, a true believer believes BECAUSE OF GRACE Acts 18:27

The word through here is the prep dia:
- the ground or reason by which something is or is not done
- by reason of
- on account of
- because of for this reason
- therefore
- on this account
Nobody said anything about hell, but in the day of Judgment there will be no laughing and joking and scoffing, regardless of ones destiny. Besides that, I have been showing scripture to substantiate the view I espouse, but its being scoffed as calvinism, and thats their defense.If nothing else works, shake the Hell stick at them?
You have to admit that, at the least, you've adopted an understanding of it which has a calvinistic leaning. After all, if someone is bald why should he come it over? It only draws more attention to the baldness, rather than, preferably, "owning it" which would display a more confident attitude towards the reality.
Huh. You refer to tiny snippets of the Bible and conveniently leave out the HUGE swaths that
clearly show God was active in people's lives before they came to believe. Then you claim
it is me who does not believe the Bible if I do not agree with your impaired view.
Maybe you will also tell me that you came to God all on your own, that He was not drawing you.
I would have to say I do not believe you then, either.
Tell me how the Holy Spirit of God convicts the world of sin.
Since in your view, God is not working in the lives of non-believers.
Grace is the impetus for all God's actions toward us. But we don't believe in belief. We believe in Christ. That's why preachers are sent. Truth is imparted concerning Christ and by the Spirit we are born again.
You cannot divorce salvation from grace or faith anymore than you can water from liquid and wetness.
God sent Nebuchadnezzar a dream.
God in heaven... has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come.

You scoff calling it calvinistic after a man, I see it as the Truth of scripture and Gospel. So in essence you reject truth under the guise of rejecting a man. Now I have shown from scripture that regeneration precedes and effects Faith, the ones calling on the name of the Lord in Rom 10 were in a saved, regenerate state.
To me, your view is distorted so your opinion of my sentiment toward the issue would then, naturally, follow suit.
Grace saves, its not a impetus to anything, without saving. Paul says it clearly Eph 2:5
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)
Now Faith accompanies this Grace that saved. Grace is the Sanctifying work of the Spirit in Regeneration.
One cannot believe apart from regeneration first.
Read Titus 2:11-12. The same grace that brought salvation now teaches us how to live Godly lives.
