Romans 10:13
King James Version

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Does this mean that everyone who has ever called upon the name of Jesus will be saved?
NO! everyone who has called upon the name of Jesus din't really mean it. i have met some of those people. it clearly means everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord Jesus AND MEANS IT will be saved.

Rom 4:25 . . Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for
our justification.

Paul wrote that verse. He also wrote Rom 10:9-10 where he said-- in so
many words --that it's necessary to believe in one's heart that Jesus was
restored to life. Failure to do so will of course result in one's loss of the
justification he spoke of. (cf. John 3:18)

NOTE: The Greek word translated "justification" pertains to an adjudication
of innocence, i.e. an acquittal; which is a ruling in the absence of sufficient
evidence to convict. Just imagine standing before God and Him having
nothing with which to accuse you that'll hold up in His own court. Pretty
amazing.

Lol, I know who wrote Rom 4:25, and it declares that those whom Christ was delivered up for, rose again because what He did by dying for them, Justified them, thats the testification of His resurrection Rom 4:25

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Now do you deny the Testimony of Christs Resurrection ?

Correct. But he simply does not give up his false gospel.
He preaches the false gospel of 'fatalistic determination' salvation. Only the lucky ones whom God 'fatalistically determines' to receive salvation are zapped with saving faith in Christ, while they remain completely passive in making that choice. No free will. Just lucky puppets.

Of course you have to mean it. That reminds me of the sinner's prayer. Now in regards to the sinner's prayer, simply reciting a sinner's prayer will not accomplish anything on its own. I must have prayed the sinner's prayer 20 different times with Pat Robertson while watching the 700 Club when I was a teenager, yet nothing happened. Why? Because there was no repentance and faith. Such a prayer needs to include what a person knows, understands, and believes about their sinfulness and need for salvation, followed by repentance/faith.

For a person who comes to the realization that he is lost and in need of Jesus Christ to save him, he may only obtain salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. He needs to understand that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for his sins by His sacrifice on the cross of Calvary, was buried, and rose again the third day, and he needs to make a genuine and willful decision to totally trust in Jesus as the ALL-sufficient means of their salvation in order to be saved. In doing this he is calling on the name of the Lord to save him.

Now if subsequent to such a decision, the person would like to pray what some call a "sinner’s prayer," (calling on the name of the Lord to save him in prayer) he may do so, as long as he understands that it was his decision to trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation that apprehends his salvation and not simply reciting a prayer in of itself, as if it's a magical formula to recite a set of words, but prayer may be used to call upon the name of the Lord to be saved.

Correct, they were in a saved regenerated state when they heard the Gospel.
You know, I don't believe we can save ourselves. Most people who really examine Scriptures realize God had to
Initiate it. Simply because, as Eph 2, says, we are dead in our sin, and God makes us alive!

"As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this worldand of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient." Eph 2:1-2

Dead men can't raise themselves. Salvation is an act of God!

"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved." Eph 2:4-5

But whether you believe you are part of the process, I.e. synergism- or believe God totally saves us, without help from us - monergism, in both cases, we are NOT saved when we believe and call upon the Lord. Although we may be predestined to be saved, as Paul says in Eph 1:4-5:

"For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—"

But we are not saved before we believe and call upon him. This is not Calvinism, or Reformed doctrine at all! It is just some kind of made up, ignorant nonsense.

There is a point at which we are NOT saved. We are not born saved. God had to put that faith in our hearts, so we could believe and be saved. After that, we are saved. Whether eternally, or with the possibility of losing our salvation, (which would mean going back to bring a dead person!) doesn't matter. But God takes us from a place of not being saved, to being saved!

I'm kind of stunned anyone can believe they are saved before they believe and confess Christ and God saves them. How absurd! How illogical!

A person is saved before and in order to believe the Gospel, thats why its the Gospel of their Salvation Eph 1:13

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

They possessed Salvation whenever the Gospel was sent to them to hear about it. They posses it prior to believing.

Okay. Christ as Saviour gives repentance did you know that ? Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

The sinners He calls to repentance, He likewise gives it to them, causes them to repent.

At what point in time beforehand? Five minutes or five years?

Fatalistic determination is not God's purpose of salvation. You are a teacher of Calvinism.
Lol, more scoffing of the Truth of God, calling it calvinism isnt going to excuse you from the scoffing, thats adding to it

Regeneration simply means to be made alive. It isn't salvation. Salvation occurs when one believes.

Amen and Amen.

Being "dead in our transgressions" does not mean a person is unable to believe.
