Yes, they were already were born by the word of God in their heart Rom 10:8

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
The word 'word' in this verse is not referring to the Word of God.

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Yours, mine, and everyone else's. -Anyone- has the capacity and ability to choose to believe the gospel and become saved. That's why we preach it, so people have a chance to hear it. Once they hear it, it's up to them to decide to believe it or not.

Calvinism vilifies God. It makes Him unloving, and unlovable.

Those in Rom 10:13 were already saved/regenerate. We can not hear or believe spiritually as lost natural people.

Does calling on the name of the Lord in the context of Romans 10:13 mean doing something like this?:

"Jesus, please help me."

You are veering from what is simply stated in Romans 10. Your interpretation will create a division within the Christian church. You will promote argument and disorder. Do not generate factions.

Galatians 5:19-20
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, idolatry, witchcraft, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions.

I do believe that the calling on the Lord is a continuous act. A lifelong faith in Jesus Christ to save us from our enemy, death.

You should be calling on the name of Jesus everyday.

Hmmm - let's see...

is it:

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

or is it:

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord was already saved before they called upon the name of the Lord."

Why would anyone need to call upon the name of the Lord if they were already saved? What purpose would it serve where salvation is concerned?

No I'm telling you the truth.

They were already saved or in a saved state.
