You could start by purchasing and carefully studying The Revision Revised by John William Burgon. That is only the tip of the iceberg, since Burgon wrote many other books to prove that the Minority Text is thoroughly corrupt.
Was Burgon KJVO? Would your opinion be swayed if I provided resources in favor of accepting the minority texts?
That is where you need to personally do your due diligence.
But I will give you just one glaring example -- the OMISSION of Acts 8:37, which (1) totally undermines the doctrine that only sincere believers may be baptized and also Romans 10:9-10: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Do you understand that water baptism is optional, and that what really matters is that a person has done what Romans 10:9 says to do? When a person does that he is baptized in the Holy Spirit, which is the one baptism that matters (Eph 4:5).
Indeed it undermines (2) a plain understanding of Scripture, and also undermines (3) the doctrine of the preservation of the Word of God and (4) the commandment to not tamper with a single word of the Bible. The NIV adds and substracts words from Scripture at will.
So does the KJV. The difference is that the KJV usually italicizes them, some (not all) newer translations do not.
And I would not say that it is "at will." The NIV translators, and other translators who use all the texts available, work from those texts. They are not "out to deceive" or to lead people astray.
A question was asked in verse 36 and in the King James Bible the correct answer was provided in verse 37. But according to the NIV NO ANSWER WAS GIVEN to a very critical question!

You obviously have a very strong opinion on this. It's interesting that although you decry and discredit the modern translations, you have no problem declaring that the KJV translators got it wrong in Eccles. 12:7.
Acts 8:37 is not in texts that are older than the TR. People a lot smarter than me have worked diligently to make the best translations they could, and I am not hobbled by the KJVO mindset. As far as I have been able to put together, here are the verses that exist in the KJV that
may be of questionable authenticity:
Prov 3:3; Matt 12:47; 17:21; 18:11; 23:14; Mark 7:16; 9:44, 46; 11:26; 15:28; 16:9-20; Luke 17:36; 22:43-44; 23:17; John 5:3-4; 7:53-8:11; Acts 8:37; 15:34; 24:6-8; 28:29; Rom 16:24; 2 Pet 3:18; 1 John 5:7.
Additionally, while 1 Cor 14:34-35 are in every manuscript, they are located in different positions in some of them. That, and the fact that they essentially silence half of the church, causes their authenticity to be questionable. I realize this will probably upset you, that is not my intention.
Even though I do not think the omission of Acts 8:37 in newer translations constitutes a "doctrinal difference," thanks for responding.
