Sins can only be forgiven with repentance - this presumption that Jesus 'Lamb' died for the sins is contrary to Jesus teachings and only appears in Johns Gospel - long time after and arguably corrupted.
Matthew 9:13 - 13 But go and learn what this means: I desire mercy, not sacrifice For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
The sinless blood of Gods Son Jesus Christ is in heaven now, on the mercy seat. It was that necessary.
And yet Jesus had power to forgive sins on earth before He was crucified.
And the Old Testament saints also forgiven. But now the payment for sin is there in heaven for eternity.

Hebrews 9:11-12,14 KJV
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; [12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. [14] How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Some of Christ's followers have eternal life; which is a very big advantage
because it makes them immune to the wages of sin.

John 5:24 . . I assure you: those who listen to my message, and believe in
God who sent me, have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their
sins, but they have already passed from death into life.

However: though the folks with eternal life are immune to the wages of sin,
they're instructed to avoid abusing their immunity as a license to do
whatever they want.

Rom 6:1-2 . .Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show
us more and more kindness and forgiveness? Of course not! Since we have
died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?

Gal 5:13 . .You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your
freedom to indulge the sinful nature.

God does not believe in sacrifice, this came from pagans. and the quotes from Paul. Few examples of many;

Deuteronomy 12:31 - 31 You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.

2 Kings 21:6 - 6 He sacrificed his own son in the fire, practiced divination, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, arousing his anger.

Leviticus 20:1-2 - 20 The LORD said to Moses, 2 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Any Israelite or any foreigner residing in Israel who sacrifices any of his children to Molek is to be put to death. The members of the community are to stone him.

2 Kings 16:3 - 3 He followed the ways of the kings of Israel and even sacrificed his son in the fire, engaging in the detestable practices of the nations the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

Psalm 106:37-39 - 37 They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods. 38 They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood. 39 They defiled themselves by what they did; by their deeds they prostituted themselves.

Ezekiel 23:36-37 - 36 The LORD said to me: “Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then confront them with their detestable practices, 37 for they have committed adultery and blood is on their hands. They committed adultery with their idols; they even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to me, as food for them

How could God sacrifies Jesus. Nothing in the OT says that Jesus was going to be sacrificed for everyone's sins.

Deuteronomy 24:16 - 16 Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.

Romans 3:25 KJV
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
amen and then this becomes doctrine to a believer moving forward for Gods children

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: ( this isn’t about Jesus dying for our past sins it’s about our behavior going forward )

give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We have an atonement for sins committed before we met Jesus and believed and we have a doctrine for life moving forward

Why did Jesus die "for our sins" then according to the Bible? Why ever institute animal sacrifices? Just repent and you good to go
There is no real evidence in the Bible Jesus died for our sins - Only Paul implies these things well after Jesus

Correct, now, Under God's Grace, It Is:

Eph 1:7 "In Whom we Have Redemption Through His BLOOD,
The Forgiveness of sins, according to The Riches of His Grace"
ALL sins?: What Saith The Confirming Scriptures?:
Col 1:12-14 "Giving thanks unto the Father, Which Hath Made us
meet [ worthy ] to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in
light: Who Hath Delivered us from the power of darkness, and Hath
Translated us into the kingdom of His Dear SON: In Whom we Have
Redemption Through His BLOOD, even The Forgiveness of sins"

Is it a partial 'past sins only' (UNfinished work) redemption for individuals? or:

The FULL (Finished Work Of The Cross) Redemption?:

Col 2:13 "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision
of your flesh, hath He Quickened together with Him, Having
Forgiven you ALL trespasses"
Grace, Peace, And JOY In Christ, And In His Word Of Truth, Rightly
Divided
(+ I and II)!

RICH Blessings!

He will bring the people back to the law to save them from sin - Matt 5:18 not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
This post reads like the Blood of Jesus the perfect sacrifice was not good enough for some.

Hello anothertheory, as others have already noted, if our sins can be forgiven simply by repenting of them, then why the Incarnation, and why the Cross

For that matter, why would God the Father send His only begotten Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), the Being who He loves more than any other in the universe, here to die that HORRIBLE death on the Cross if it wasn't ~absolutely necessary~ for our sakes that He did so  Wouldn't that make the Father a monster if that was the case, rather than our loving Abba?

God bless you!!

~Deuteronomy

Hebrews 9
22 All things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Romans 5
8 God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
Isaiah 53 (1 Peter 2:24-25)
5 He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed.
6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.
Point 1- Isaiah 53:5 - it says Jesus was wounded (pierced very arguable) point being Jesus was not killed. Point 2 unlikely that this relates to Jesus. Very briefly - Isaiah 53:7 states that "he did not open his mouth" - Jesus "Eloi Eloi lama sabachtani!" &
Isaiah 53:9 9 He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. A) Jesus was not buried B) we was placed in a empty tomb by himself. 53:10 ....He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.
The other quotes are Paul - contradictory to Jesus & God

I don't feel less a part of God's people simply because I've been grafted in.
You shouldn't. You are Abraham's spiritual seed.
Romans 4:
6Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
7Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
8Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
9Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.
10How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
11And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
12And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
13For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
14For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
15Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
16Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

There is no real evidence in the Bible Jesus died for our sins - Only Paul implies these things well after Jesus
Paul wrote his letters and preached his doctrine in real time. During the time of the twelve apostles.

Galatians 2:2
It was because of a revelation that I went up; and I submitted to them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but I did so in private to those who were of reputation. (Those of reputation were James, Peter, and John)

Paul was a contemporary apostle but an apostle to the Gentiles, not the Jews.

Paul's gospel which you claim was a long time after, was in fact, at the same time.

2 Peter 3:15
And regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you.

Peter confirms that Paul has a divine wisdom regarding the gospel.

2 Peter 3:16
As also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which there are some things that are hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Peter says, 'As also in all his letters', obviously Peter has read all of Paul's letters.

At Antioch, Paul rebukes Peter to his face.

Galatians 2:11
But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.

The idea, that Paul arrived on the scene much later on, is without support in the scripture.

Paul taught Christ crucified, if you think Paul was preaching something else, then you are dead wrong.

Agree GRACE_ambassador prayer is needed this guy has Scriptural knowledge he knows what he is doing and saying.

Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
I read his 'spiritual status' to be sure .

Luk 11:23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

That is certainly ANOTHER THEORY. A very fanciful and inaccurate theory. The real issue is whether you want the truth or not. Many people hate the truth.

This is all Paul - contrary to Jesus and the disciples
Lets skip what came before..ooh I see what I did there anyway "this is all Paul?" What do you mean? What is written in the NT we do understand believe unless I am misunderstanding you is Gods word, its God talking not Paul, Peter, James, John, Tim same exact thing can be said for Christ whos words were not His won but Gods.

"There is no real evidence in the Bible Jesus died for our sins - Only Paul implies these things well after Jesus ". I am only guessing here but were skipping the OT also? Its in the OT also :) What does "who so ever believes" mean? Strange well I got He died for all my sins just from Matt-John the rest is icing on the cake and ooh trust me its THICK very THINK icing.

The seed spoken of in Gal 3:29 is a singularity.

Gal 3:17 . . The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The
Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to
your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ.

So it would be improper for a Christian to say "I am Abraham's seed" when
the appropriate thing to say is "We are Abraham's seed" i.e. a collective
unity.

Gal 3:27-28 . . For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed
yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male
nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

* I've seen people claim Gal 3:29 says Christians are spiritual Jews. But
Abraham was a Gentile; and besides: Gal 3:28 says there are no ethnic
distictions in Christ.
