I see,

Perhaps that is true, but it's a 2 way thing, first God has to call people, and the other is that people have to respond to God's calling, many are called but few are chosen.

I get it, it's one area you've chosen to stay out of, it's too bad, seems like every country on earth is in need of Godly leadership not just in the church but in government too.
This is well said. It is too bad that so many Christians take these idiotic positions on political matters. Then, when things fall apart, they abdicate their own responsibility by blaming prophecy. Must be nice to be in their heads.

The conservative position is that people should benefit from hard work. The harder you're willing to work, the greater ought to be your reward. That's not bad. That's good. That's called a meritocracy. That's also a very Godly position. The opposite that you appear to be advocating is indeed a Leftist position. Income equality is the result of governmental force, and dissolves incentives to work or strive or innovate. It is also a social justice position, and social justice is anti-Christian.

Thank God for income inequality.

How so?

Examples?

Such as?

You haven't given facts, you've given opinions, which is fine, but please back them up with at least one specific.

These actually do come right out of the Leftist handbook. It sounds like you're reading The NY Times or watching lots of CNN, Leftist rags.

Conservatives must be bad for the country. They stand in the way of the authoritarian utopia the Left wishes to usher in. So, everything the Left is guilty of they blame their opposition for. Saul Alinsky, you know. We are the fascists, when they want to control the economy (which means controlling the people). We are the racists, while they're the ones enacting racial quotas and racial segregation in our public schools -- again. We're the radicals, when they're the ones who want to redefine gender for 6yos.

So whatever you do, don't vote for conservatives lest they block this madness.

Show me where I said that. Has anyone else said that?

You participate in public affairs because you want to minimize the evil. Well, most people do. You would rather surrender to the greater evil because you don't want to support any kind of imperfection. Sorry, God put flawed humans into power. Do you submit to your pastor? He's a sinner too.

As for Revelation, fully aware. However, you or I do not know the time. Until it is here, we are the salt of this world, preserving as much as possible. If you are going to say "Oh I know it's right around the corner, so I'm going to disengage and watch Jesus return", no where does God tell us to do that.

Not sure of your point. I never said this. You really reading everything I'm saying? Did anyone else say this??

Show me examples.

Deception is not about supporting flawed human candidates. But, there is great foolishness in being profoundly misinformed or in believing that it is better to let great evil take over because you don't want to get the lesser evil into power. If you fought a war like that, you'd lose.

Too often, life does not give us perfect choices. It gives us muddy ones, and I think we are to still prayerfully choose between them.
You know, it's not like your questions don't deserve answers.

But I've spent horrendous amounts of time doing that in the past, only to have those efforts fall on deaf ears, ears that have already decided against ANY responses that don't confirm the hearers bias. And other than prayer, I've never found a way to present such information in a manner in which it would be considered. Especially when the evidence is profoundly evident without even searching (JohnDB sees it). So I came to the conclusion you presented:

there comes a point when you need to stop grinding your wheels against warped reasoning.
I'm praying for all my brothers and sisters who have fallen to the deception they were warned against.

Thanks, it's true, and at the end of the day when all is said and done everyone is going to stand before God and give account of every word thought and deed.

The good and the bad.

The works we've done -- or failed to do -- will face the fire of purification.

The Government likes to control its citizenry through two means. One is direct by laws and the other is by "path of least resistance" both parties are guilty of it...

Constitutionally in America anyone of clean background checks (alimony, child support, and sans any felonies) can purchase a firearm.
If the checks come back clean enough and the local sheriff is willing you can even purchase a silencer for said firearm. (Of course all taxes and fees and permits and classes applying)
BUT if you wish to travel by airplane anywhere using commercial airlines you immediately are "randomly" selected for extensive security screening. Increasing the hassle factor immensely...

if you get pulled over for a suspected traffic violation you immediately must inform the police of your status upon first personal contact where you immediately will get detained by handcuffs until all you have related is confirmed.
I don't even want to discuss about what happens if the firearm enthusiast takes up hobby machining or 3-D printing.

All of this causing the firearm enthusiast a great restriction of other interests immediately.

That's indirect control of behavior. Over policing or making a set of behaviors extremely expensive to the point that no one or very few people will engage in those activities. Such as new car leases vx new car ownership...much cheaper to lease a car than purchase one if you don't drive much or far. Renting an apartment is financially cheaper than single family home owners...but owning does eventually build capital...but usually the interest and taxes are actually eating up the capital retained and then some. But people still think it's awesome...whatever.

Sales taxes and inflation are consumption restrictors causing people to reserve excess wages in savings accounts...artificially low wages keep people so busy they can't pay attention to anything that isn't immediately in front of them...keeping patents on medicines and restrictions on obtaining them ensures profits for drug companies and lower usage by the general public.

Lots of ways to control people indirectly...
Both sides of the political spectrum do this...neither is blameless or clean.

Which is why I don't believe that either political party is better than another. Nevermind the lower social/sexual morality of the Democrats...they actually have done some very republican things....same goes with Republicans doing very Democrat things.

It's to the point that neither party is a good one to vote for. Both are exorbitantly manipulative but just say whatever is necessary to get elected. Currently today an entire consumer protection agency concerning predatory lending was abolished by Trump appointed judges but the decision was paused by SCOTUS.
Obviously this is not something that makes headlines but is indicative of the manipulation.

You'll notice I'm not responding to this anymore. There just comes a point, you know? Enough. But, for those who are on the fence, hopefully our conversation here can sway them to a saner thought process.

Inform police of what status?
Also increased security at airports?
It's not like people ever hijacked planes and prove them into buildings or something 🙄
