May I ask what you precisely mean by 'heaven' which presumably is where you as a Christian believe you will spend eternity? Is this 'heaven' a spiritual realm i.e. you will be (like) an angelic being?
she means the heavens which God created and where he dwells as his home the heavens the Bible has spoken about since the first verse
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1
“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
Genesis 1:31 KJV
“The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's:
But the earth hath he given to the children of men.”
Psalm 115:16 KJV
“Thy kingdom
come.
Thy will
be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 6:10 KJV
She’s talking about the kingdom of God
“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.”
John 18:36
this place you have to hear about and believe in even though you can’t physically look and see you have faith because Jesus said it
“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
Mark 16:19
just before this happened awhile he said
“
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.”
John 14:2-4 KJV
half of creation is hidden from mankind’s sight the only way to know it’s there is to hear about it and believe she’s talking about heaven that other half of creation the eternal part where the Church belongs and where they are called
“but ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:”
Hebrews 12:22-25
we could never understand the promises in gospel if we don’t acknolwedge heavens reality it’s been spoken about from the first verse and through the middle to the end
“And
I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come
salvation, and strength, and
the kingdom of our God, and the
power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Therefore
rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
Revelation 12:10-12
Inside of you there is a living spirit that makes your body operate , when we die we’re going to enter the other part of creation the spiritual and invisible part To us now that’s where Jesus is and where the believers in Jesus are until this day
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
Revelation 21:1-5
she’s talking about that place in the Bible where the invisible but ever present God lives and prepares a home for believers until that day of restitution
