That is true. He didn't tell us to clean up our lives and somehow become sinless to be acceptable. In spite of our awful sins, He paid the punishment, the torment for them all. Taking the Bible as a whole, we see that God does not rain fire and brimstone upon cities whose people He loves. Judgement to hell is not an expression of love so what happened? We know the verse you quoted.and many more expressions of love.

Sodom, Gomorrah, and other cities were full of people who hardened their heart against God, like Pharaoh. They did not want to think about Him. They decided to be arrogant and eventually God gave up on them, giving them over to a reprobate mind. Romans chapter 1.

Jesus came not to judge the world, but that the world through Him might be saved, John 3:17.

That does not mean that He will not ever judge mankind. That wasn't His mission while upon the Earth, however, He pointed out how He would judge, even using cities like Sodom as examples and warnings to others. Every child enters this world with the live of God for them. When they have opportunities as adults as free will offers, they can choose Him or reject Him. Gandhi rejected our God and turned many from His Son. God in turn rejected Gandhi and turned him over to a reprobate mind. So, does He still love Gandhi?

Yes, I believe that the fact that God turned Gandhi over to his reprobate mind shows His love for Gandhi. He loved him so much that He allowed Gandhi to choose to reject Him. I loved my children enough to show them my beliefs and teach them, and then when they became adults, I took God's lead, and loved them enough to let them make their own choices, regardless if I agree with them or not.

I see what you are saying. I think you probably love your children even if you are disappointed with them at times. You wouldn't reject them altogether as we would a stranger who harms us and does things we find reprehensible like harming others.
Gandhi led a peaceful revolt for freedom and as a historical leader. I'll give him that. The part that Christians don't know is that he despised God and committed sins that were considered reprehensible to Him. Here's a quick history on Gandhi that they didn't teach us in school or church.

I want the Bible to tell me who I should love or hate.

I don't put people through a screening process be fore I tell someone how to be saved according to the Bible. Occasionally, there's a flamboyant type that goes out of their way to let me know that they are out of the closet and despise evangelical Christians, as the one who approached me this summer.

My christian family and all children should be protected from those in the recording. They should be taught to avoid them. These are violent men and women. I'm glad that my Dad taught me as soon as I was old enough to know who these kind of people were that I should avoid them. That is a good Bible lesson too. See Genesis 19 and Judges 19.

I love my personal enemies, but the enemies of God are another matter.
If there is someone who is clearly an enemy of God, I do not want to make the mistake of loving them.
Why should a believer not love those who are enemies of God?

"Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies."

"Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD."

I would not raise my children to be "gay".
That's not given as an option in the meme, but mine is one option and the right option according to God's Word.

I had 4 children. The boys wanted to be boys, my daughter loved being a girl! (Meaning she would play street hockey with her big brothers who were 9, 11, & 17! But, she always had a dress, pinafore and fancy hat on!) But she was never an aggressive athlete like the boys, although she became a junior figure skating competitor.

Now, I have 7 grandchildren. Two of the girls are super aggressive. The 16 month old can do tricks on a scooter, balance and glide on a run bike, and walked across a balance beam, which made every patent and coach stop & watch her. But, she likes being pretty and feminine, loves pink and frilly dresses.

I'm not saying the outside matters, as much as the heart. But if both parents give their children love, and discipline, they won't be running off to become alphabet soup!

The Word of God is written in proper English. There are men and women who don't have english as their mother tongue, yet they understand it perfectly. If english is your first language and you fail to understand the King James Version, then you should be utterly ashamed of yourself as a native english speaker.

I agree that I could understand it, but to tell someone to be ashamed, because they can't understand something is just rude. And then to have someone else support this is even worse. But then again, this is an online Christian site. I shouldn't expect more than rude and support for rude, I suppose.

We've discussed this issue with our children, homosexuality and such moreso than these faux weddings. We have Bible study every night. Some youths from the community have started coming to our house for a Bible study, and we've addressed this topic. It hasn't driven them all off, in spite of being different from what they hear on TikTok, other media, and people at school.

When my daughters started going to school in the US instead of overseas, they were aghast at both the awful behavior and all the gay junk a lot of the kids were saying. A lot of kids now identify as 'bi'. Maybe they want to be told they are brave. It's a very sick agenda much of the government and the media are pushing on the kids, and it encourages some kids to really mess up their souls and psyches with experimentation that they probably would not have engaged in if they lived in the already-too-libertine culture I grew up in in the 1980's.

Keep praying for them, its only going to get worse.

Well, all that I have to say is that I have four sisters, and all of them are divorced and "remarried".

I did not attend any of their second "weddings" because, according to my understanding of God's word, none of their divorces had Biblical cause, and therefore all of their second "marriages" constitute adultery in God's sight.

I didn't tell any of them off in some sort of "holier-than-thou" attitude, but they're all well aware of why I didn't attend their "weddings".

As Christians, I don't believe that we should condone or put our stamps of approval on things that are detestable in God's eyes.

The same principle would apply to a "gay marriage".
