Yes, they are absolutely relevant. The biblical 7th day is Saturday, otherwise known as the Sabbath, but I surmised that you already knew that.

Can you please demonstrate by scripture that Saturdays is the Lords 7th day, you have Exodus as a guide
Very good point, if we are not going by Gods calendar , whose calendar are we using and is 7th day in use today Lords Day, or it does not matter
This is the first honest comment, yes we no longer go by God's calendar not only in the WEST but PERIOD
For the jews, it is the saturday.
The Christians gathered on sunday. In the view of a jew the first day in the week. But as Christian we are not under the jewish law.

Depends on which day you start counting on. Any day could be the 7th day. Jesus was not picky like the Pharisees and Sadducees were.

And Jesus kept the Sabbath when He was alive, and rested in the grave when He died.
Mat 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
Luk 23:54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.....56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
Jesus kept the Sabbath holy.
The pharisees and Sadducees were not keeping it right. They were hypocrites. They made mans traditions and human standards more important then Gods laws.
God made one day holy. Not Sunday, or monday. You can kept the seventh day holy like God said or the other days of the week like man has said.

I find it funny that Christians will immediately start their bellyaching as soon as someone mentions God's holy days, yet when Christmas, a non-biblical holiday is in question, no one bats an eye.
We can meet together every day of the week and worship God every day. The question is which day is the seventh?

Which day did God rest on, and ask us to rest on?
Most say it was only for the Jews, but i don't see any test saying that.
True we are not under the condemnation of the law because of Christ. But Christ will write the law on our heart and in our minds.
I delight to keep the law,
To not kill, to not take the Lords name in vain, to not covert, and to keep the Sabbath day holy. Not to earn salvation but because i love Christ for saving me.

If you want to keep the OT Jewish Sabbath, you may do so. I will follow the new and better way of Jesus. I will strive to keep every day holy, and I will meet on the first day of the week, despite your condemnation and judgement upon the rest of us who live in the NT.

Seems that Jesus abided by even Jewish customs of the time. How can people today observe a fixed day when so many occupations require 24/7 workers. I think the following passage shows Jesus observing a purely Jewish custom of the day which we don't have today. Plus Jesus never sinned and yet was said to have violated the sabbath by picking grain on the sabbath. Was Jesus observing the sabbath or not? Plus the Bible states Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Mt. 17:24 ¶ And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? 25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? 26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. 27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
Jesus was perfect.
According to the heavenly standard, Jesus never sinned. According to the Jewish pharisees standard He did sin.
Today we can follow mans tradition and mans standards, or Gods standards.
Many have lost there lives because they choose to serve God rather then man.
From my study God is happy for work that is needed like saving life, and caring for people on the sabbath. It was made for man...

I have the feeling we are at an impasse here. I also here in Chicago on occasion talk with a teacher of a group calling themselves House of Jacob (HoJ). They follow OT Sabbaths and 7th day sabbath. I first talked with them regarding passages at (((((Acts 15:16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. )))))) I am of feeling this is referring to several different assemblies of peoples that God is working with. HoJ teacher almost eager for days of 'Jacobs' trouble. I am fairly new to Christ though as per Heb. 1:14 I have had ministering spirits starting over 50 yrs ago which I totally dismissed until 2017. Still many things I don't know.
