i reject the textus receptus created in 1516 AD.

i use what Jerome used in 380 AD.

there was no word called doctrine in the original Greek.

hence, your matthew 7:28 And it came to pass when Jesus had finished these words, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching;
So are you saying that the KJV version is untrue?

You are just whistling in the wind. for sake of argument. Did I not say doctrine = something that is taught?

In fact, the King James Version of the Bible was written for political purposes and it does contain many errors.

The Politics of the King James Version - THE STORY OF THE BIBLE (storyofbible.com)

Errors in the King James Version – The Superior Word

The King James Version of the Bible is basically King James Word.

the KJV Bible has an additional 251 Verses and over 1,000 more words than the original texts and Bible of 400 AD.

how did 251 more Verses just appear?
how did over 1,000 more words appear?

the textus receptus is very faulty in how it gained its translation.

we have been discussing Creeds in this thread. a CREED should ALIGN WORD for WORD to the Word of God.

Nicene Creed:
this is about Jesus:
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, begotten of the Father [the only-begotten; that is, [[((of the essence))]] of the Father

let's examine this portion here : [[((of the essence))]]

the Original Greek Texts from 3rd Century in Hebrew 1 state: Hebrew 1:3 who, being the effulgence of his glory and the exact image of his essence.

so the Nicene Creed uses the same language as the Original Greek. which shows us God is SPIRIT and Father-WORD is SPIRIT and are SAME ESSENCE.

now look at the texus receptus in the KJV:
Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person

they put PERSON! they have changed both the Original Greek as it was first written and changed the Nicene Creed!

..................................................................................................................
let's look at the Apostle John:

1 John 5:7-8 from the 380 AD Greek
this is what the Apostle John [[actually wrote]]

7 For they that testify are three,

8 the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are one.

what does the textus receptus kjv Bible claim john wrote?

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

so not only does the textus receptus kjv Bible change how a Verse reads and means, they have added [[((TWENTY-FIVE MORE WORDS))]] that originally [[DID NOT]] EXIST!

but i didn't and i don't adhere to creeds only to Biblical Truths!
biblical truths spoken And recorded by them for the edification of the church ?

I think his point is if we aren’t following the biblical truths they left for us we’re not going to know biblical truth who can would leave us in this group

“preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:2-4‬ ‭

the truth is the gospel Jesus taught and they then taught others when we let from it and won’t let it be what God said it opens the door for false teachers it seems a good solid point the early church leaders wrote the New Testaments it’s 100 percent there to teach , correct , rebuke , encourage , and guide us as our light in the world

but what i have always found hypocritical, people slam me for not adhering to Creeds, even though i believe the Creed word for word and MY BIBLE STATES THE CREED WORD FOR WORD, but if they use the KJV Bible, they use a Bible that does not even say word for word the Creeds they believe in!

Their Own Bible doesn't even follow Their Creeds!

The Holy Spirit's, of course, you want "Wisdom"??? ASK FOR IT SINGLE MINDEDLY and you'll be given it liberally (James 1:5).
The reason there is so much agreement and so many different "interpretations" is because people do not want to agree with the language of the text. Interpretation is nothing more than man's attempt to assign meaning to the text. We do not have the right to "interpret" scripture nor are we permitted to assign meaning to it. In fact, scripture expressly forbids it. The Bible is God's word, not ours. Only God has the right to assign meaning to revealed symbols.

word for word ? It’s not possible to translate ancient Aramaic , or Hebrew word for word you have to understand what each word means , and then find an English term to express it in English

the sentance structure not vernacular was nothing in ancient Israel , as it is in now English the kjv was translated by the absolute best scholars in the world , 54 of them working independently in teams transliterating , translating , and comparing each other’s work vigoursosly for years

they did nothing but translate and compare , translate and compare these experts in the necassary languages and English apppinted by king james , who truly wanted an accurate translation into English

these 54 professional scholars who checked and rechecked the work for years , seem a much better source to trust than some who today study online for a moment th and explain how the kjv has it all wrong Or just isn’t good translation

If you translate ancient scripture word for word it sounds like this

“ God created in the beginning , and the heavens The earth “

English communicates that by rearranging and adding contextual words often ( of , to , sometimes the , ect …..) because our language is different sometimes what thier word means , we do t have a single word to
Mean the same thing so we have to say “ what they are saying “ in our words to get the right concept through is all I’m saying word for word doesn’t actually do that , often you have to look at “what the Hebrews says “ and then use English to communicate it to English readers

I , myself think each person should choose a translation of the Bible they can understand and trust , as an old man I trust the kjv much more than modern versions , but also I don’t think there’s anything wrong with niv , nlt the Hebrew Bible or whatever the Bible’s message is what matters not which words express it

it’s good you trust your version , it doesn’t require you to argue against others to trust the one you’ve chosen they all say the same things about Jesus even if they use different words to say it

we already had it word for word.

but you know how we can tell when translators are full of the Holy Spirit or secular?

the translation will be correct Language word like the word TEACHING exists in the Ancient Greek, Latin, and English. but rather than use TEACHING, the secular translator uses DOCTRINE even though we have the word TEACHING in our Language. and Teaching would be word for word to the original. we had access to TEACHING and refused to use it.

The first known use of doctrine was in the 14th century

so in the 14th Century [διδαχή] became the word Doctrine.

so i am correct, the Apostles wrote TEACHINGS and man turned TEACHINGS into Doctrine.

and you wonder why i don't trust Doctrines!
1) The very greek word I posted from had the word Doctrine.
2) "
Definition:
the act, or occupation of teaching, Rom. 12:7; 1 Tim. 4:13; information, instruction, Rom. 15:4; 2 Tim. 3:16; matter taught, precept, doctrine, Mt. 15:9; 1 Tim. 1:10"
https://www.billmounce.com/greek-dictionary/didaskalia
3) The Hebrew word for doctrine means "to take, receive, seize"; then it means that which is received mentally, instruction. The Greek has a whole family of words relating to our topic: one means that which is taught; another refers to the one doing the teaching, the doctor or master; the verb form simply means to instruct or indoctrinate. The word doctrine appears fifty-two times in Scripture, good evidence of its importance. Strikingly, when we read of doctrines in the plural the reference is always to strange doctrines, the doctrines of men, or the doctrines of devils. False doctrines are legion and contradictory, but true doctrine is one, for it has its unity in Jesus Christ. https://www.prca.org/Word a Week/word19.htm
4) It is true that, The first known use of doctrine IN ENGLISH was in the 14th century
5) Latin: 700 BC had the word doctrine.

English is not a Biblical Language. Herbew, Greek, Aramaic and Latin are.

i am the determiner of words when it comes to what i need to believe!

i determine what i watch vs Godly and ungodly, i determine what i listen to, in my walk in God i am the determiner of what i allow to influence me!

and doctrine was NEVER USED in the Word of God until the textus receptus removed Teachings for Doctrine!

the word doctrine was not applied in the early Greek Texts. had that word existed in the Greek, Jerome and the Early Creeds would have adopted it. they used the Greek Word available which was Teachings.

the Word Doctrine was first used in the Latin Language so your Hebrew suggestion is absolutely incorrect!

54, i was born literally in a Church, raised all my life, ordained to be a minister, studied and went to Bible College, then ran like the devil and lived like a hellion. even while i drank myself to sleep or was stoned stupid, i had every note from my great grandfather, grandfather, father, uncles who were all ministers handed down to me. i would just sit for hours and read and study. but it never mattered to me. when my Dad died in 2017, i promised my Dad i would spend Eternity with him and from that moment on, a hunger for the Lost erupted inside of me and i began living my Calling. i will be relocating soon to help my cousin who Pastors a Church.

it's funny, my family and friends who are pastors plus others i meet through them have lived this their entire lives and they are still learning things my mind was able to understand 30 years ago. and things i saw in my obliterated state of existence.

hahaha!

i have said over and over what Greek Text Jerome and those who created the Nicene Creed had is the most authentic Version and i use that Version.

the KJV does not even describe the Son to the Father properly like the Creeds you promote do.

how can you use a Bible that does not match the Creeds you believe in?
